what to do about a track bike

Taking what other club racers are saying.

I rode 1:41 at barber on an SV650 in a race and 1:43 on the 1199 on a trackday.

The only 3 times I rode an S1000RR I felt it was really way / boring to ride. Except the turbine boost. Dude that rode my bike got off and said he felt raped by my Bella... :D

For a track bike, ride what's easy to ride, good on tire consumption and cheap to crash.

That's a really interesting sentiment since I've been asking questions on a different thread about getting into track riding. Panigales aren't that cheap to crash...getting a track bike that's not a Panigale seems like a better option, would you agree? Besides the 650, do you have recommendations of ones that fulfill the criteria you stated above?

Thanks for posting!

SV if you are intent on really building skills. Any UJM 600 otherwise IMHO. But it's your money and it depends on what your ultimate goal is at the track.
