Well you picked a hell of a bike as your first Ducati, hell yeah! :)

First Ducati superbike, I've owned a Ducati before, a Diavel Carbon a few years back. Great bike!

Been wanting a V4 and almost got an Aprilia, but dealer support here is nonexistent.

No V4 for me right now either. Gonna wait for the successor to the panigale line up

I have a Speciale on order. It will go with my other Ducati's including my 1199S.

Cheers

Ordered V4 on the 13th November, 2 more months to go for delivery, glad i hold the urge to get the V-twin Panigale and waited for the V4 instead. Keeping my monster still, good for double up my wife or the little one for short trip....:)

Keeping the 1199S till the bugs are out (probably never Lol) but hoping in a year or 2

anyone considering the 959 Corsa for $17.4 seems like a great deal.

I am! I don't really need the power from the V4 but the trick suspension, the TFT display, its very hard to resist, on the other hand the price, ouch!

what really surprised everyone with the new V4 is the handling, handling, handling beside the obvious 216 hossies....the electronic package might as well be the market leader as well unless some other brand come on with something new.... ;);)

Really only chaz and marco need the power of v4/pani r:RE

Thanks for your comments :) I really look forward to reviews on the non S V4 because that is not much more expensive then the 959 Corse...

No V4 for me

I opted out of the V4

I guess I am a traditionalist. I love the L2, its what built the Ducati name.
For the price I paid for the 1299r FE I could have had the Speciale. The reason I picked the FE over the Speciale is because the FE is like a 71 426 Hemi Cuda convertible. A very rare and special machine, raw and enough torque and power to satisfy the most power hungry senses your mind can develop. The Speciale is like a Gullwing Mercedes.
The FE is a designation and solute to what Ducati was and how it got there.

How is an early 70's Hemi Cuda more traditional than a 1954 300SL Gullwing Merc?
