I just bought the V4 with the full Akrapovic. Delivery will take place end Feb 2019.
My first Duc after 20 years of having had all models R1 (1998-2018) without any issues.
Hopefully this Duc doesn't disappoint me on that matter.

Congratulations don't worry Ducati's never have any issues

ordered my V4 S Corse, expect it in February

will keep the original exhaust as the akra's are not road-legal and they will certainly check in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, ...

Just received a call from the dealer. The V4 is finally ready: full Akrapovic titanium exhaust, other tires, Garmin GPS, R&G number plate holder, alarm, but most of all, 8 modifications (recalls) done :)

Ordered a v4 r. Still not sold on the need for the full exhaust system but will surely oscillate on that view between now and delivery....

You definitely don't "need" the exhaust, but god damn does it make the bike 10 times more enjoyable to ride!

The Arka changed the whole riding experience for me and sounds so angry and aggressive.

100% worth the money in my opinion!

I ordered the R and also the full exhaust. Need and want are very different things. No one needs the R, but we want it, so why not get the exhaust as well lol

My dilemma is, do i get the exhaust installed for when i take delivery or wait till first service

If they didn't make that exhaust so damn good looking and if it didn't free up so many ponies it would make it a much easier decision!

After seeing the aftermarkets/mods available and mostly 70% road use, a V4 Model would be a smart choice.

If I were to ever add a stablemate to my twins it would be an R or a base and add suspension and exhaust.

But my R's that are L's are brutal

Just took home a base V4. Going to add the regular Ohlins, exhaust and a set of wheels for the track. Maybe OZ or maybe the S wheels if I can find a good deal on them.

It would sound great but at 57 I’ve had plenty of loud exhausts on bikes and cars, to give me headaches on long rides. I really don’t mod my bikes or cars anymore.

Different colors besides boring or what most would refer to as traditional red would be great. Not that I'm in the market for one but having no color option sucks.
