How is an early 70's Hemi Cuda more traditional than a 1954 300SL Gullwing Merc?
Perhaps I misquoted to strike the correct feelings on that. The Gullwing is refined where the 426 Hemi makes no excuses for itself. It hits hard, and has a peaky motor. The L twin motors are peaky punchy and animalistic motors.
Sounds like you're new to Ducati Some of us old timers cut our teeth on the 851/888, 916/955/996/998, 999 and 1098/1198, almost all of which were not considered peaky at all. The first iteration of the Panigale, with the introduction of the Superquadro engine, changed that.
waiting for a Base V4 (demo bike) from my Local dealer.
Quick question? I have the 1299S and I've recently seen a few videos where the words "racing" comes up on the screen when the key is turned to the on position. Mine doesn't say that. Anyone else have that issue? Is there a upload or something?
