Germs, guns and steel. When Cortez landed it's believed that there was 20 million indigenous people in North America alone. When the British landed at Plymouth there was, again it's believed that due to primarily disease they were only 2 million left. The European imperialization of the world. Brutal, ruthless, driven by greed justifying it by fostering the belief white folks were racially superior. I'm with you. And now we're talking about a renewal of American imperialism.
