I have the zero gravity double bubble in dark tint. Had the same on my CBR. Love it.
Doesn't interfere with mirrors.

ZG light smoke double bubble. no mirror issues. the white sticker is a warning sticker i will peel it off when i put the nose back on

was it easier to install the screen removing the WHOLE head fairing or were you doing something else?

ZAID a little bit of both, however it is nearly impossible (i say nearly because technically it can be done to install the windscreen) but you have to have extreamly small hands and a whole lot of luck. Let me explain.

if you look at the windscreen you will see 2 screws at the bottom of the screen. those screws are held on by rubber grommets. those grommets when unscrewing the windscreen will 99% of the time fall into the light section and you cannot get them out without removing the front fairing. if your lucky you they will stay in the windscreen but i dont know anybody that lucky. if you unscrew but dont remove the front fairing and you have baby hands you can catch the grommets. As usual ducati thought things out fully half way.
I was wiring a radar also so either way i was taking off the nose.

My advice take your time and remember take pictures or write down the way everything fit. take note of the way the mirrors are wired cause if you dont they are a PIA to fit correctly. Sort of like repackaging something you bought from a store. You can never get it back in the bag it came in. there are many things that you may forget to remove and the front pin that holds the fairing on is tough to unhinge. I did mine with a friend. took some time had a drink or 2 smoked a cigar back to work. had some lunch back to work. Would i want to do this again NO WAY. would i YES because im tired of paying the stealership for installs that should be simple.

I didn't take the nose off when I did mine. Removing was easy. I bought some Pro-Bolt screws with rubber grommets and super-glued the bottom front 2 grommets to the windshield. Then just inserted it into the channel. It's easier with 2 people manipulating the fairing.

when unscrewing the bottom screws of the windscreen can you put something so they stick to oem screen first or like bronch said can i flex the front fairing enough to slide out??

I held the grommets in place with needle nose pliers...

Used a specialized hanger to pick up the grommets when I dropped them on the light lol.

I stand corrected and will lower my percentage from 99% of the time :D. i for one wasnt going to super glue anything onto the windscreen. i couldnt get the grommets out i guess i had the wrong hanger (was yours a metric hanger or sae hanger) but like i said i was doing other work as well so i just removed it.

Yeah I spent a lot of time with a flashlight and hanger I bent into more or less a rod with a hooked end lol.

I'm with Trauma - stock. Question though - why is this "urgent" and you have to order it tonight? Bad case of upgrade fever or did you break it trying to install your tail tidy? You do know you can install it without turning the bike upside down, right? Did you crush it when you "flipped the bike over" to work on the tail? *head in hands*

:D

100% no

I purchased a DP tinted oversized windscreen. Not much of a tint but it is alot bigger, helps ALOT on the highway. I will go take some pictures and post in a few.

Got the same one when I bought the bike and am not happy with it. Taller- yes ok it helps out a little. Darker - NOT!

Looking at other options now.

Gunny,

I should receive my Silver Iridium from Powerbronze in a few weeks. I'll let you know of quality and style and post a few pics.

smoked and super tinted regular OEM style windshield on mine. I love double bubble windscreens but on this bike it ruins the looks so decided not to do it but I do love it on my ZX6R .... be careful with removing the windscreen bolts..... the bottom 2 I have no idea where the nuts dissapear to when taking them off

I just tinted my DP oversize windshield today. This is what became of it. It was a smoke vinyl, not tint. They told me the tint would not work because of the flexing.
