Wait till around February. When I bought my 2015 1299 February 2016 , Ducati was offering 3k off 2015 1299 models with 0 apr. I didnt know that when the dealer offered me that deal. I was so excited i signed right on the spot. Then I went online and saw the offer. I called the dealer the next day and said why didnt you tell me about that deal. What if I asked you to take another 1000 off yesterday . He said if you would have asked I would have. Oh lolol.

Search around and you might get lucky. My local harley dealer took in a 2019 Panigale S on trade back in May. It had 700 miles on it. They priced it at 27K, so I laughed and said I'd just wait to see how quickly they sold it. Fast-forward to yesterday (11-26-19) I walked in the the dealership and said, NOW how much are you asking? The sales manager, who I've known for years, said, "look, we gave the guy $20,400 on trade. I will sell it to you for that, plus dealer fees". They have like ~ $1500 in junk fees, so to counter I offered him $21K plus state tax and tags. They took it. There are deals out there to be had, just do some inquiries and if you get lucky, like I certainly was in this instance, you can find a deal.
