The term "certified Ducati mechanic" makes my .... go limp. The fuckery I've watched Ducati techs do...

There is a big difference between a master certified Ducati mechanic and a "Ducati" mechanic. The ONLY master certified one in WA State made it clear to me that these things are a problem

How are you able to distinguish the two?

Is there any kind of online credential listing where I can seek out an actually certified tech?

It’s the number of slices of pizza and glasses of chianti in the lunch break

Master Ducati Certified Tech vs Ducati Service Tech. Both barely made it out of the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. The master tech simply has a larger assortment of Harbor Freight Tools.

Honestly, there are a couple of Ducati Master Mechanics that decided to go beyond and develop pretty good skills. The rest, I wouldn’t let that motley crew assemble a red wagon without having someone check it.

With regards to the spacers, buy a real throttle then the spacers and these threads can go where they belong.

I don't care much for a spacer but it's hard to justify a $500 race throttle vs a $5 piece of plastic to mimic the same thing. Now if that piece of plastic does in fact cause problems on the v4 platform, then that's another story.
I'd rather do away with the "precise" feel and deal with the slop.

Hi, can someone send me the CAD file for the spacers? I recently got a 1199 and I'm surprised the slop was designed in. Thanks!
