My 2012 S seems to be working ok still. Went for a blast yesterday and nothing went wrong with the electronics. In May I will have had this bike 3 years and only the indicator wiring issue (5 min recall fix at the dealer) and I had to have my gear selector switch recalibrated after about 3 months. Nothing since then. Still have the same dash.
I think the 1299 will be fine. The SL was probably a good test vehicle for some of the new stuff.

Has anyone had a date for 1299S delivery in UK yet
Here anxiously waiting in Ohio. Dealer still only has projected time of end of April or early May. He hopes to know more next week after some big Ducati dealership meeting in Spain. Weather is slowly getting better so definitely hoping for earlier than later.

My salesman told me he was going to Valencia to ride the 1299 and would
be back around the 28th.
He was still hoping for an early April delivery.
After paying my property taxes....I could live with early May!

Mine is at the dealers. Not back to pick it up until April though!
Fond memories from 2012...ordered in November and was promised April. Got delivery on June 15th!

Was just at my local dealer, and hugging my bike full of joy. Yes, it is already there and will still have to account. I am very happy
