1299 Delivery Times

I'm supposed to be picking mine up next Saturday, but I can't get any insurance currently. Kinda never envisaged this, I've had assorts of bikes my last one was a 1199 but i sold it at the end of 2012 due to work commitments and now I'm back again. But because NCD only lasts 2 years I have to start from scratch, and no one will insure me yet, but Ducati Insurance closes at 3pm on Saturdays so fingers crossed until Monday or else mmmmm i hope its not registered yet :eek:

Crazy thing if I had a scooter with protected no claims and had claimed say last year I'd be ok, but i've never claimed and when I stopped I had full no claims but that counts for nothing now and computer says no :( so far !

Ho Hum, no ones died I guess.......
 
Congrats Mutt and PaniP they are sexy and you fellas just made alot of people jealous.
 
I'm not entirely taken by the roll cage though, but I'm sure it will make me feel safer at track days!?

I'm waiting to see if we can retrofit that new heatguard onto the 1199! it looks very effective still but not as big as the 1199 updated heat shield
 
At the dealers today, should get my hands on it next week after pre-delivery inspection etc.
