I can see both sides. I personally like Endodoc's attitude. If you have the skills and some money then go for it!! But, I would agree it can get a little tiresome hearing Endodoc tell us that all the time! :roll eyes:
People spend years building experimental aircraft. Others build handcrafted furniture or sailboats ... Remember that it's a hobby, an outlet to be creative and think out of the box. There are those who would like to do more to there bikes but don't have the time, skills, tools, to do a high end build. Finally, there are those who simply don't have the spare time but still want the sheer enjoyment of riding a unique and rare performance vehicle. So they go out and buy it.
Years ago I worked in the kitchen of my fathers french restaurant. Today I will sometimes go thru the the trouble of cooking a 10 course meal for friends and family. Then again, sometimes I will just say ".... it" and spend the money to try some really good haute cuisine.
For some it's all about the journey and for others it's about the destination. Either way is is OK with me...
