the SC looks cool but for a Ducati it just doesn't feel right not going with Termi or Akra just my 2 cents before i get totally bashed.

I agree, I'd much rather have the Akra, unfortunately it's a unicorn.

So does the 959 keep going on as the "middleweight"? It almost seems like the 600ish sportbike class is on death row. Even the "new" R6 is just a tweaking. Triumph dropped the 675. Kawi said no more of the 600cc in the current model in Europe. The 636 is basically the 2009 bike with some small tweaks.

Why? Just because that's what everybody does?

SC is Italian, Akra is not... it would make more sense to have an Italian exhaust on your Italian bike, no? - Well, it doesn't really matter... just trying to understand why you made the comment. To each their own anyway

I bet that SC would make the bike sound like a BEAST

I associate Termi and Akra on Ducati race bikes and Akra in my opinion make the best full systems that's it nothing against the others.

While I do like the look of the SC replica of the SL Akra exhaust, I'm just not too crazy about the styling of it and how it fits with the Panigale as a whole. Nothing against SC at all. I'd go with the undertail SC for other bikes but definitely not on the Panigale. Under belly exhaust just looks aesthetically pleasing. That SC exhaust does look nice as hell though.

Think the bigger issue is will these options be real world usable.
We are struggling with homologated underbelly cans for noise levels in a lot of places.
Throwing in a set of straight through stubbies may have been interesting 10 yrs ago, but
where can we use them now? Starbucks runs and not much else.

...while i know this isn't 100% correct...but the SC reminds me of the D&D pipes from the 90's - Made in Texas

They actually do kinda make a lot of the exhausts on the Moto GP, Moto 2, and Moto 3 grid........

We've had pretty good luck with the SC Project exhausts, MUCH better than Zard.

Do you think that TERMI might make this and sell it to the public?

I doubt it

I E-mailed TERMI a few months ago about this and their reply is that they might produce a full special edition Ti version coming out late summer or early fall. Hopefully the new Zard and SC project under tail exhausts will motivate them to making it available sooner rather than later...

There is a reparto corse version of the underseat Termi system available, though
I dont know the price. Was discussing it with a bodywork maker yesterday with
respect to an oil catch pan model he makes and the difference in fitting clearances.

electric bikes are coming these conversations will be a thing of the past shortly

Nope.... We've got a long .....way to go before electrics can put out over 200hp AND be able to put in a 500-600 mile day while doing this on a bike that keeps the weight under 400 LBS..

i don't know you already have electric bikes making impacts in the trials world and dirt bike scene, the big issue is the weight and distance but manufactures are trying.
