1299S engine speed limiter - depending on gear?

I've got an expert question:

At what engine speed does the engine speed limiter normally kicks in with the 1299S (MY 2015)?

On my 1299S, in 3rd gear engine speed limiter gets in at about 11,000 rpm, all red lights are on before. But the red area on the rev counter only starts at 11,500 rpm...

Is the max. engine speed before cut off in the larger gears (5th or 6th gear) possibly higher? Didn't have the chance to check out myself so far.

Question also because I use 15/41 final drive ratio. If the max. engine speed in 6th gear is also just about 11,000 rpm, you loose some top speed....

IIRC, the rev limit for 1st and 2nd is 10,600 rpm. But I believe gears 3-6 should be 11,500.

I changed mine with woolich racing software so all gears are 11,500. Got REAL tired of slamming the limiter in 1st and 2nd.

Tested it yesterday in 5th gear, engine speed limiter kicked in somewhat over 11,000 rpm, at speed indication 270 km/h/169 mph (with 15/41 final gearing).

Next time, I'll test it in 6th gear assuming that the engine speed limit will be 11,500 rpm here.
