great so I was literally the last person to get one....
Yeah, sorry bout that. TBH i actually wanted the slipon but it was same price as full system, i think full system will be too loud on the street, i have it on my track bike and its crazy loud

I'm in the wrong spot, but I'm happy to check in here anyway - '21 SF V4S Dark Stealth...
I'm glad I didn't have to wait like a lot of you all.... However, I did go into the dealer to buy Ducati hoodie, left with the SF. :-D

Lol that’s awesome! Congrats man!
Thank you!!

True story actually, My wife didn't like the look of the hoodie, so I didn't get it, but it started the convo about the SF.. she actually likes the fact that I downsized to a smaller bike than the Monster 1200S :-D :-D :-D

Bought mine when I took my out of town friend into my dealership to look at bikes, once he rode canyons in Colorado he wanted something that could turn.. dealer was great as always, we demoed dang near everything after other places wouldn't let us ride squat. Then the very first not-already-sold V4S rolled out from assembly testing. Crap.
Loved the bike I came in on, was really looking at a 2nd play bike, but one test ride (with an excellent and aggressive escort) and I was done.
So was my buddy. We both bought one.

After some advice from friends and a few fellow Ducati Forum subscribers I've sold my Streetfighter. This bike has been an expensive disappointment due to its undisputed performance issues. I can't justify spending thousands of dollars more to bring it up to what all the hype the press claimed. I'm not done with Ducati though. My Diavel performed outstanding outside of some minor eccentricities. It's also quicker;)

I can only hope Ducati reads these forums and makes the new big Monster a true hooligan:)

Ducati please don't make the new Monster too tall;)

Ooohh I like posts like this / discussion commence.

I sit on the side of the fence that wanted

1. Fast bike - doesn’t need to be fastest but fast enough to play / scare sport bikes
2. Looks good
3. Comfy for my 40 year old bidy
4. Desirable
5. Good technology / with the times and behind it
6. Good build quality
7. Makes me want to look at it

It ticks all these boxes and it’s more powerful than I ll/ most will need. It may not be the absolute manic animal that some thought it would be but it suits my needs and wants, I wouldn’t change it but that’s what makes us all unique, each to their own.

Wow, did not see this coming. I agree with your statement to keep the Monster in mind for us shorter stature folks . The Diavel 1260s was my 2nd choice to the SFV4.

What I read online is the Diavel 1260 is one of the quickest (0-60) Ducati’s @ 2.5sec due to all of the low end torque.

Now I get why dude was saying he went down 1 tooth in the front and up 4 in the back

Checks out

A bike named street fighter that can’t beat its way outta a wet paper bag

He's not talking Diavel 1260 but a 2012 Diavel model. I guess fat back tire and loads of torque make for good 0-60 times IF you can launch it either way.

I just didn't have that experience with my Streetfighter; that I was always was thinking it was missing something. I went through the whole un-cork it nonsense, exhaust and mapping etc just to see what it could be and to have a project.

The tire grip helps. Also I am quite certain ”he” is a “she”.
