Hi.. Had mine for 3 weeks now and was even closer than you to buying the SuperDuke R. To be fair the Superduke R i thought was a better road bike, mostly much smoother. The SF grumbles a lot at low speed (Throttle not butter smooth) and the heat for me is bearable as it does have cylinder deactivation. The thing that grabbed me first off was how loud it is on the stock exhaust. Also didn't realize that the Bluetooth / connection module is extra though. These are minor niggles as i frickin love the bike!!.. That anger just adds to the character for me, looks better than the SD. The SF just oozes quality from paint finish to the bolt heads, side stand etc etc... My advise, just get it you wont be disappointed.
Thank you, I'm glad to hear you are enjoying it. Regarding the heat: Are you good in shorts(don't judge )? Or do you need to wear jeans or leather? And what do you use the Bluetooth module for? Thank you again!

Ha! No shorts here, but if your sitting in heavy traffic it can get a bit "warm"! but not burning hot from my experience. The BT module is so you can connect your phone to the bike, answer calls, play music etc. Im probably going to get a PackTalk unit anyway so wont need the BT module.

You will not be disappointed...I've had mine since May 2020, and all is good. Only concern for me right now is unleashing all the power this v4 offers. There are some aftermarket maps and tuners you can install that help, but out of the box this bike will fly. The SF is great on street and track...if you are coming off a Panigale 959, you will love this beast.
I'm glad to hear it! I'm coming off of a 959, it's light and tight, but will toast your backside.. My other bike is a Diavel. I am typically a 0-60 guy, and the street fighter seems like it will fit the bill

Perfect, you guys are making me want to go get it right now. I am trying hard to hold out until bonus time at work (March 31). I don't think I am going to make it ...

You made the wrong decision asking the Streetfighter forum about Streetfighters!

My other ride is a 2017 Panigale 1299s, which will cook your ass in the hotter months. Streetfighter is much better from comfort and heat standpoint, and is really my daily driver...but I still love to jump on the 1299 just to feel the raw power delivery of that bike... it's just not a daily driver though.

Got the call today that my bike has arrived at the dealer, deposit placed Early April....only bad news is my dealer is telling me 10 weeks for slip on akra and full system isn't even shown as available?

Im in Australia - anyone else getting similar feedback?

Glad to hear your bike has arrived :)

I had the opposite experience...Ordered bike beginning of Feb, with estimated delivery in beginning of April, then purchased full Akra system in March (through dealer). Akra system was delivered to dealer in April...due to COVID delay, bike did not arrive to dealer until June. Install was 2 days. Totally worth the wait though. Bike is amazing.

Im currently looking at buy akra over seas from another ducati dealer who has stock....

advice he has given is:-

'If you were to buy a system from us and take to Australia then all we would have to do is load the MAP onto your VIN number then for the Dealer in Oz to plug your bike in and download it.

It is fairly straight forward as long as we as a dealer load the MAP on and it is a dealer that loads the MAP onto the bike then we are laughing.'

I have following concerns:

1. is it only authorised dealers who can do the up map? the dealer I'm looking at to do fitting is ex Ducati (i bought a 1199s off them) but still has ducati mech's from a few years back, However prob no recent training or CPD with latest bikes
2. is the uk map different as their fuel is better quality than ours
3. If I do have issue - will ducati look after it?

Australia dealer can't tell me when the full systems will be in stock in Italy and slip ons are in stock in Italy but he said at least 10 weeks maybe more to the here.....which sucks nuts

The serial number of the Akra system is registered to your VIN. Then the dealer can download the Akra map from Ducati and flash it to your bike.

The rest of your questions would be better directed at your dealer who's going to be doing the flash.
