This is a pretty genius use of the stock damper attachment. Was trying to figure out a clean way to attach the front reservoir after raising the clip ons a cm. Needed to shim out the damper rose joint anyway to get it in the stock position
 
The chrome helmet looks sick, always dug those, Jarno Trulli had one back in the day in F1, awesome to see on track. Thanks for posting 🤙
 
Wrapped up the season yesterday at NJMP, great oct day - 75 deg and good times doing laps with friends. Bike felt great and I had an X tire on after lunch to push but last 2 sessions were red flagged so no hot times were had. Last weekend I rode 2 days on the super Moto and one day on the dirt which was a blast, so I am looking forward to more of that. I am going to round out 24 at Philip island in December + def hitting chuckwalla, so local season wrapping up but more to be had.

Hit us up when you are going to be at Chuck…our ‘season’ is just getting into full swing. I’d garage with you guys fir the convenience of it at Chuck but I like to split my season between Chuck and Willow Springs…so not a lot of benefit since I can’t just store my stuff and bike there :-/

A buddy of mine does 1:51’s there, RoadracerX does 1:51’s low 1:52’s…some fairly quick guys rolling around Chuck track days…last track day a lot of racers there that are even faster. Fun to see those guys out there, most of them pretty cool. Had one of them just randomly slow down for me and signal me to latch on to get pulled around the track, was fun.
 
Not really worried about lap times, when I make it I will be on a borrowed bike just having fun doing laps

I’m going back to basics again…I got 6 seconds faster just focusing on basics, tried to go fast last time and ended up a bit slower. The next couple of track days I think I’m just going to go at about 70-80% but do as many laps as possible just trying to get certain things locked in with consistency. It’s funner when I forget about lap times and just focus on doing the best laps I can in a relaxed way.
