@KarlKani I didn't think the V4R forks were inferior to the FKR... aren't they equivalent?

The I am not exactly sure on the 23 OEM ohlins but the 19 had FKR in one leg - I never used those forks. Feeling wise they do not feel as good as my previous FKR forks, they are spring pressurized and allow you to run softer springs for better feel. Also installation allows for more travel

One other thing does anyone know where I can get a custom axle nut made? I need one for the drive side, the Sitta quick change setup I got doesn't thread far enough on to use the clip - needs to 1-2mm less deep

With the help of a wise person it is obvious and that in the image we were all looking at previously that the stock flange is not machined forth the stock washer, see below - the nut is not seated far enough to allow the retention slots to hold a clip Screenshot 2023-06-23 at 10.43.35 AM.png

Per the WRS product page, "Product interchangeable with the original without any modification."

Possible to just use the OEM flange with the Sitta carrier? Or an AEM one?

It is possible to use as is, but you cannot use the safety doesn't seat far enough on the axle

I'd be weary of that Sitta flange setup since there's no recess for the washer and the nut doesn't go on all the way. Though if you wanted to use it, I guess you could somehow safety wire the nut but that seems like a bodge.

If it were me, I'd machine a washer recess into the Sitta carrier or revert back to the OEM.

The OEM flange has a recess for the washer like regular V4, right? @roadracerx was saying the 23 V4R swingarm is different than the other models so maybe that's what's causing the issue

The 2019 V4R Ohlins oem forks are what Ohlins was calling NPX. This is a NIX 30 cartridge on the rebound side and a FKR on the compression side. I turned a 90 second lap at Laguna on the stock fork - it works VERY well.

Ohlins will say the FKR is better because the parts are a little higher spec but I seriously doubt 99% of the track riders can tell a difference between a well setup NIX 30 fork and a FKR insert. I mean look at Aprilia! They are STILL using NIX 30 forks even on their X Trenta and jornos RAVE about Apes on track. It's ALL about proper setup IMHO.

It's been crickets on here from me lately due to travel. I have been getting some days in and making some pretty big steps setup + geometry wise.
Updated Suspension
FKR carts +5mm travel with 9.75 springs - dropped the front 2mm
DU468 shock 85 spring 316mm length 260mm ride height
Bike is feeling much better at turn in and front feeling, I will be dropping front an additional 2mm before next days at PittRace
I also finally fitted my Speed Carbon fairings and decided not to paint them for now - looking like a test bike
