I’m currently dealing with 22 V4 that boiling coolant and the dealer tried to charge me despite having Red extended warranty…
You really have to fight and know the law because dealers and the factories don’t want to pay. These bikes when they work, are fantastic, but damn, I hate dealing with all these issues. My 21 street fighter V4S was a disaster. But it was good when it was good.

Agreed it’s a fantastic bike when it runs properly. Look and sound great! A bit frustrating to work on. Even more frustrating when the dealer works on it.

When I got the bike back from dealer for the coolant (which may or may not be fixed), they forgot to put the battery clamp bolt back in…

I’m sorry for you and I hope you do not spiral think too much through this bad experience. It's statistic, one bike out of a lot will have problems.

I bought an Aprilia RS660 few months ago and before the 600 miles service I had 10 issues, including rear brake and other things. I started to think of trying to stop the contract, get a refund but as it’s under warranty, they started to solve a little issue, then give it back to me, to figure out all other issues were still there. I decided to take a Ducati and trade the bike immediately instead to go through this nightmare. No lemon law in my state. I lost $2K in the process.

I had the choice between Ducati V2 2024 and 2025. I decided to take the 2024 to avoid beta-test a brand new model. I also wanted to keep the high cc.

Duc dealer tell my something about there is mode that can use rear brake automatically 15% or so when pushing front brake?

Hi

With any new product it seems Risks are involved these days. The general Public becomes the Alpha Testers.

Was there damage or discoloration to the Swingarm with the fluid leak?

Best of Luck
Ian
Hey guys, yeah, I didn’t see any discoloration or damage to the swing arm. That’s why I thought it was air in the brake line that needed to be bled. But when I see it again, I’ll take pics and post them here

The benefit of this 2025 V4S bike electronics upgrade is the rear is supposedly automatic in most settings like road and race, unless you turn it off in race pro mode. That helps for the heavier braking and ability to turn in on corners.

how did you identify this? My SP2 would always run hotter compared to my friends V4S. I'm usually 1 bar engine temp higher than his for some reason. Would I need to remove the fairings and ride to see this? Like it may be a bad/failing pump maybe?

I was hoping Ducati would have gotten manufacturing tighter by now, especially after being owned by Volkswagen since 2012. A little naive. 😂

well they are definitely not Toyota. But I feel like nowadays, everyone's cutting corners. Sometimes it's not just the manufacturers' assembly issues. It's the parts manufacturers' that are producing these parts that are failing. Everyone's looking for cheaper alternatives to make that part costing 20cents down to 10cents. Sad times.

Sad times.

It's the best it's ever been. Drive a GM car from the late 70s or early 80s. Modern vehicles are leaps and bounds better.
