How Many of you are running ABS delete on your V4 s?

what are your opinions and experiences?

i use the bike for street and track

to do it, do you need T LINE,

Plug the ABS module

and some devise ti prevent CODES?

anything else?

Thanks in advance

The ABS pump is same logic and components as 99's so best bet is to cut the casing on the pump remove the electronics from the mechanical part of the pump. Solder in resistors (sometimes) not needed then enclose the PC board into a small protective case plug n play no issues.

I have a customer asking and I'm not in front of my bike to verify. Does anyone know the size for the block off plugs that you use on the module?

No need to plug anything if removing the complete pump correct ?
Just leave the other part intact and cover it and seal it ?

The electronics portion of the pump has to be plugged in or the Traction Control, Quick Shifter, Wheeli Control and Engine Breaking wont work.

There is no way of removing the abs pump you can only bypass it, the older units you could remove the electronic portion but not on this one. I have just plugged mine and cleated the fault whith the upmap.

My bike had a nasty foil sticker (that I removed) on the frame with some nonsense printed on it. Yours has what looks like an engraved badged riveted on, do we think this is because you have a truly special machine or simply because you reside in a different region?

Late to this, and I’ve searched high and low for this answer, so when just bypassing/plugging the abs, you still have an error that is thrown?

Just need to remove the pump/mechanical parts from the ABS unit or just leave it plugged in and plug the 4 ports. Either way no error on display.

Perfect
That’s my plan. Leave it in place. Plug the ports.

Appreciate it.
