Aftermarket Parts. How much have you spent and on what?

Help Support Ducati Forum:

Thats exactly what I need. Im relocating the switch box to a Motec style plate over the dash so it frees up the key guard mount. Did you make that ?

Send me the blueprint, I'll duplicate the holder for you, no problem.

Good thread....I dont own a Pani (yet) but I have experience on aftermarket parts on my Ducati....

2010 1198S Corse, 100% factory stock, except Woodcraft rearsets because lets face it, we all know factory rearsets are plain junk. This may not be relevant to this thread because I feel the limited edition, numbered bike like my Corse (bike #85) should remain factory stock. This bike will become my 'living room' bike when I aquire myself another Ducati streetbike.....

2011 848evo...race/track only bike, so nothing stock (except stock pipes with race baffles installes and cats removed) Thousands of dollars invested in this bike....Its for sale ;)

2012 848 Corse...well, lets see. This bike has nothing stock. Its also a racebike, so I changed everything on it....Ive got multi thousands of dollars into it....

What tail Eliminator kit do you guys have? Or suggest

This ^

I can never find a solution I like. I was leaning towards one still mounted on the tail, but didn't want any support brackets. (Lines of the under tail not affected, aside from the plate itself) I'm not entirely sure of the look/placement of the NRC, and definitely don't care for the chintzy-looking NRC signals, so an integrated tail light is a must.

Does anyone know if the NRC FE kit/any other kit that mounts to the heat shield/passenger peg mounting points make it a PITA to attach the pegs or use the Akrapovic heat shield if I were to go with the full system?

I have the NRC setup and with he Akra heat shield, it's not hard to mount the NRC plate. You will have to bend it out a bit, but that's it.

My R doesn't come with passenger pegs so I can't help you with that

What number did you get on this one bro?

I had #244 and there are so many reasons I miss that bike its unreal
(Being a LE bike is definetely one of them too man!)
You didnt even mount the Termi Race Slips that came with it ??

I put quite a few things into mine, which all came off again when I sold it to a ChopShop out in LA who broke it down into little parts to ship off to some rich dude in Thailand! At first I thought it was all a scheme but when a check for 22k showed up overnight - and the Bank verified it 100%, all I had to do was bring it to the trucking Co for shipment out there.

This is what lead to the purchase of my 2012 Tricolore -----and I will admit wholeheartedly that parting with that Corse was one of the toughest decisions I ever made on a bike!! I literally made Pro & Con lists about 5 times, didnt sleep thinking it over so much, but now when I look at this Tri and the millions I put into it (lol) You spoke about Rearsets- and those were TOTAL Crap and is shocking they had the nerve to put those on a LE bike huh? The ones I luckily stumbled upon were "Acculign" and were the BEST Ive EVER seen- EVER!! (See pics and their adjustment capabilities!)

I do love the Tri - but of course miss that Corse something fierce man!! Absolutely LOVED the torque on that compared to the 1199 series - and the wheelies were incredible too! Oh, one cannot forget that Brushed Alum tank and how "Different" it was right? Oh well. Best to you and your Corse in that living room man. Post a pic of that on a stand under the 65" Flat Screen!

Gunny Out..........
