What air filter should I install to go with my full Termi system? Also how much maintenance is involved with the race filters? I just ride on the street and I don't want something that's gonna involve a lot maintenance.

I thought I needed a high performance air filter to get maximum performance with Full system?

Sprint P08.

I threw my MWR in the trash. ....... things was ridiculous to install compared to the Sprint, which flows MUCH better. There was a thread here were some guys tested a bunch of filters and the Sprint P08 was head and shoulders above the rest.

Plus with the Sprint you just need to clean it with air. Doesn't need to be oiled. I just installed mine about a week ago. Fairly easy job. The tensioner clips can be a bitch of a bitch to wedge in and out but not too bad.

As the majority say, go with the Sprint. It's the best flowing filter out there(some University just did a comprehensive test and the Sprint came out on top), plus, it's the filter that comes on the Superleggera and is a direct drop-in.

I got the Sprint filter as part of my Termignoni Carbon slip-on package and I installed the exhaust first and rode the bike for a week and a half with the stock filter, then I had the Sprint installed. HUGE, HUGE difference. I took my leaf blower and tested the stock vs. the Sprint, with my leaf blower stuck right up against the stock filter, I could hardly feel a thing, the Sprint flowed a freaking HURRICANE! That's my semi-scientific test, but it showed a massive difference in flow between the Sprint and stock.

Sprint flows great, blah blah, but the REAL reason to get a Sprint filter - stupid easy cleaning. no more trying to figure out if you used too much or too little oil. Just blast the filter with air and you're good :)

Any info how effective sprint filter is cleaning the air? On my old 1098, I had a DP air filter in, and it let a lot of dust/dirt into the airbox (which went through the filter itself!)

I would think combined with a high flowing exhaust and something to direct more fuel sure. I don't know if anyone has ever done a before and after dyno run to test it out.

I found a shop up the street from me that will do a base run for $50. As of now I have the Akrapovic full, Sprint P08 and a RapidBike Racing installed. As soon as I get a couple hundred more miles to let the RB auto adapt I was going to get it on the dyno.

I wonder how the Sprint filter flows compared to my WSBK MWR Race Filter. I've always been curious of each filter's flow properties and how well they work out.

I have always secretly hoped that one of the mags would do some sort of filter shoot-out with dyno numbers to prove... Althoguh, filters usually equate to no "real world" change.

There is a test that was linked in a previous post showing the difference. Although it supposedly was done by a third party university, it read like an ad copy to me.

Here is the test that was done by The University of Wales: The Sprint filter did EXCEPTIONALLY well... The MWR filters, not so much.

Yeah, I had read that one... They did the MWR Race. Not the WSBK model of filter.

I know that my Rapidbike went insane after it was installed having to compensate... Was actually comical seeing how much the charts changed after changing the filter up.
