Air filter

installed a MWR since it came with my bike, and will most likely swap over to the Sprint later on down the road.. I like the idae of not having to deal with the oil, also the MWR looks likeit would let in a fair amount of smaller dust particles and whatever else comes through it.

I just found out that the WSBK and WSSTK Sprint filters are $330.00 each!!!! Holy cow, those are some expensive air filters.. Better be good for at least 10 hp, eh? :D

The quotes on what the filter CAN flow are trivial at best....I guess what we really need for a performance evaluation in what CAN the bike (throttle bodies etc) flow.

agree about the ease of cleaning with the sprint...although you'd think it would need more than air cleaning at some stage...

I just got an update from Sprint; they tell me that the WSBK filter will soon be available with the P08 filter material, which they tell me means it can be used on the street, since it will filter twice as well as the present filtration material in the present WSBK filter.

Seems as if that might be the ultimate way for us to go, what with 210% more area than the stock size.

Cheers.

That's great, when will the WSBK filter be available? Will be they be available to order online from their site?

The WSBK filter is available now, as is the WSSTK filter. The NEWEST iteration with the P08 material will be available in September, or so the factory tells me.

I am going to order the WSSTK filter at Cock's for $345..
I'll report my findings....

That means I will have a MWR "race " filter with only 600kms on it and the MWR cleaning kit, I'll put both up that I will put up for sale in the coming weeks..

Just to be clear I ordered the regular sprint filter that you get with the new style termi slip ons. Model P08. Not the WSSTK sprint filter that just came out.
