Air filter

Yes it's for street use but I'm notorious for wasting money and buying an item that will be overkill in its application

Any worries about using the P16 race filter material on the street? Crap getting in the engine, etc... ?

I don't have any worries for street use, I believe its quite simple to install compared to my current MWR "race" filter

I was kinda surprised that the DP Akrapovic full system didn't come with a replacement air filter. Fitted the 15 R OEM filter to my 1299S and it is Transformed!

We just got a shipment of these in today, I think we got 6 of them. 1 is going in my bike, so there's 5 up for grabs, they're not up in the online store yet but PM me and I can get you set up with one.

Just to clarify, what I have is the P16 filter material WSBK filter, with the carbon frame, high-flow race filter as seen on the Aruba.IT Ducati WSBK bikes.

I wish I knew you sold these, I bought my P16 from Brock's performance, but would have been happy to give you repeat business ...
May I ask how much you are selling them for ?

Be aware the reduced pressure drop comes at a cost - the foam type filters don't filter as well, especially fine particulate - proven fact. I'm sure the (outrageously priced) "WSBK" filter is even worse. Racers generally don't care about engine longevity, street riders (usually) do - the factory doesn't just use a paper element because they want to restrict power, it performs better

$345 for an air filter is insane, only people who like to throw money away are making such an "investment" for minimal gains on a street bike

Everyone here owns a depreciating asset.
