Just installed my p08 on the 1299. I can't believe how big of a different the filter made. The 5500 dip is gone. And the ...... highway 4500 rpm cruising fueling is gone. I should of done this as a first mod. Love it.

I realize every bike will react different but this is awesome. Can't recommend it enough to other.

Did the same on my 1199 last Sunday as well as the RB Race Module.. Night and day difference. I can actually cruise at 17mph thru a school zone without feeling like a bull rider

The "Street" version of the new R127 filter is finally going to be available, they're in production now at Sprint. The filter is the R127S and it's the larger R127 carbon fiber filter housing with the P08 filter material, rather than the P16 filter material. We have them up on our web site for pre-orders now, I have 4 coming in the first shipment and one is currently spoken for so if anyone else wants to jump on board there's a free Ducati Omaha T-Shirt in it for you! ;)

these are awesome, especially appealing to those of us with an incorrigible carbon fiber habit!

btw, does the SBK version clean the same way as the P08 - by blowing compressed air through it?

Oh, believe me, I understand the carbon fiber habit, a real sickness, we should have a 12-step program set up.......... ;)

Yes, there is no oil used, just blow compressed air through the filter in the opposite direction to clean it and put it back in the bike.

Hi to all,

only to say "Grazie" ("Thanks") for all your spontaneous positive feedbacks about our products!

Ciao
Sprint Filter

What is the difference between P16 and R127 ?

material? and if so is the P16 better for "inhaling" air??

We produce three different meshes:

P08: the famous 80 microns patented polyester mesh
P16: double airflow, half filtration power (160 microns)
P08WP: the patented waterproof mesh for Cafe Racers and external applications

For Pani we produce these air filters:
P127S: same air filter as OEM of Superleggera and PanigaleR
R127SBK: +210% surface than P127S. Carbon frame and P16 mesh
R127STK: aviofiber frame (fibrglass in autoclave) + P16 mesh
R127S: carbon fram and P08 mesh

Hope is clear enough

Look into this picture. Often P08 is.... enough. It depends by many factors, your tuning level, type of race track. Too much also ...... by intakes!

hate to bring up an old thread... anyone do a dyno test with their new Sprint filters vs old MWR race filters?
