I'm sure a group buy might bring that number down a bit!! Possibly enough to purchase a rexxer unit with the map already loaded on it for the same price as revzilla or motto mummy :D

In offering a group buy we are aware of MM's price.... Hopefully we will be able to make an announcement in the not too distant future...

k I'm waiting on ya Steve! Would love to support a forum vendor instead.

However another plus for MM is that they offer a flat $25 shipping fee for all parts to Canada...

I understand.... :)

I, on the other hand, hope that there isn't a really good price on a group buy. It's hard enough to keep myself from spending money I don't have on this system. An even better price might twist my arm too far.

:)

Anyone put this system on a Pani R yet? Wondering if the Termis+UpMap makes more power than the Akra (with whatever else you had to do) or not...appreciate any info, love the sound!

I'll do before and after dynos with my R.... It'd be interesting to see the differences in the curves. But you'd probably have to wait until Spring as my bike is in my living room for hibernation...

When do you think you'll be announcing the group buy pricing?

I am not sure..I don't wanna blow smoke here and I will admit that the timescale is not in my control.... I was hoping I would have something by now...but I do not... This pipe has really only just become available.. so to put together this deal and make sure its done properly ....(given that I do not want to rush to a half ass deal)....takes time
I am trying to work out whether we should include a fueling solution as well or just the pipe... suddenly a lot of retailers are offering the Akra and the whole 1199 community has caught fire with the new product...
It may be that we are not able to offer it at a much/any better price than elsewhere...I don't say this in a way that is defeatist but I am being honest here... :)

If you need the pipe asap then Revzilla or Motomummy are offering it right now at what I believe are excellent prices....

i would be surprised if a vendor gets much below $3,500 the mark ups on these exhausts are not big.

My wife is going to Slovenia this Xmas to visit family.....
I am hoping for her to get the full system for me over there , I would assume it would be the most cost effective price worldwide ....

quick question... with the full termi's, to install passenger pegs one has to cut the CF exhaust cover a bit. Will the Akras interfere with the passenger pegs?

Thanks Python. I figured when I saw the indents in some of the more detailed pictures of the CF cover...

But looking through the installation manual, it seems that to install / uninstall the passenger pegs, you'd have to disassemble the exhaust as it is screwed in between the CF cover and the subframe... that's a lot of work to keep the bike looking pretty when riding solo...

i really have connection in highest places in factory :(

If this is the case then how's about you speak with your connection and see about getting the members on here a mega deal.....we wait with baited breath

Well here in UAE where im working i wanted to put Acra on my C63 AMG but Mercedes told me ill void my 5 years warranty same was for my friend BMW M3. Well C63 is much more expensive toy then my Panigale so i didnt go for it.
But i think in groupe buy if Acra can provide up-map key with full exhaust ( even better if they can provide proper fueling ) ill go for it for sure and will not care for 2 years warranty here in UAE ( still 1 to go ) cause its reallyyy state of the art exhaust.

By the way had Acra on my Yamaha R1 for 8 years and never had any problem with engine/bike except bike sounded and looked much better :)

Also somebody posted/asked about buying exhaust straight in Slovenia from the factory. 8 years ago i went there to do the same for my R1 (im from Croatia) and was supprised that the price was much more then the one from MM due to tax and this and that ... :(
Ended up buying from MM :)

I am very reluctant to purchase this exhaust for a couple of reasons. One, I love my full Termi system. It makes great power and sounds fantastic. Two, $3,500 is a lot of money, especially when I already have a full system. And I am fearful that if I pull the trigger factoring in the sale of my Termi I will be stuck with two exhausts as nobody seems to be buying the full systems second hand and there will be about a dozen or so out there for sale if a GB goes down. Just my .02

Price here in our country is a lot expensive then in us,Since us market is huge and weak dollar it is cheaper. In Slovenia you can buy it for 4140euro minus 25% =approx around 3000e.

as for M3 C63 got friends who had them installed here and no problem over warranty with both cars.I think it is just dealers if they wanna or they dont wanna go with it.Here you got no problems for anything what so ever any car from Lambo ferrari to etc.
