Wayne - Given that the akra geometry at least visually looks so similar to the termis, can you explain what enables it to fill the torque valley? Genuinly curious how akra engineers were able to figure this out when termi/ducati wasn't

thanks for this the results are really impressive especially down the lower rev ranges it really gets rid of those flat spots.

For the max HP graph is that comparing the stock exhaust v's the Akra or the AR V's the Akra.

thanks again for posting this

Stock vs Akra was the 176 v 191

AR vs Akra both made 191 but Akra filled in the hole, it also did not make my ears bleed.

As for how Akra have filled the hole ??
I think you would need to cut the muffler open to answer that question.
Perhaps the path through the muffler simulates a long secondary pipe and short muffler.

As I said at the beginning I was sceptical, not any more.

cut it, cut it!!! ;)

i guess it's quite similar to the termignoni, in order to achieve the torque it requires length, and for top end it requires the ability to breathe. so a good compromise of both...

impressive results. anyone that was on the fence should be able to make a decision. now if only the price was reduced...

I'm waiting a few years and then I'll probably be buying one then, if another company doesn't beat it by then, but everything about it is amazing, the look, sound, and power

Great results but it would be interesting to compare Akra with Termi DP3 (long version)...

Here there are the dyno risult of Termi DP3 and Termi Stock

How is the sound level of the Akra compared to stock?

I'll throw you $750 shipped for your lame termis so you can upgrade. There's another $50 in it for you if you drive them down here and install them while I watch and drink beers.

1400 shipped and I'll watch you install them. deal?

Incorrect. Header length lends itself to increasing power more in the higher rev range. The increase in torque here likely has to do with pipe diameter and tuning. I'd bet that the tuning is 70% of the reason for torque gain, with diameter and overall design making up the other 30%.

you should get in touch with David from rexxer to bounce ideas off each other. i'm sure the end result would be an amazing map for all

so just to double check, you said you would be providing the resultant map? and to take advantage of it, we would just need a tuneboy?

Helloooo Christmas! Bye bye termi's.

Just received the package from Motovation USA... Along with a bunch of CNC parts. Going to replace my full termi's with the full akra on Monday. Then termi's going to be on sale.
