hi
yeah caringbah sydney
this is some graphs from tuneboy engine management, you can find them on facebook, and they some more graphs. like temis vs akra
i have spoken to them and im getting mine fitted on the 16th, namely to fix the mid range hole.
hopefully i can get graphs of my bike pre and post tuneboy.
the graphs i belive are standard vs akra, but have a look at there facebook page

just got my bike back from having the Akrapovic fitted and then tune using tuneboy

here is the results stock vs akrapovic and tune

after taking it for a ride i am blown away! the torque hole is gone! there is power everywhere!! you can roll on the throttle at 3,000rpm and it just pulls so hard now!

That is a nice looking graph! Really like how the torque looks right off at the beginning.

It's all about diameter. Let the exhaust blow free. Don't waste your time with slip ons, unless looks and sound are important to you. If you want the Ducati grunt you gotta go with big pipes. All old Ducatistis will know what I mean!

if akra came with a fueling solution AND guarantee of no warranty issues, i would choose that.

i am happy with my termi slips though. enough money has been invested in the bike

I'm with you 100%;)

The Termi Slip-ons are a good solution to unlock some more performance from the bike as a step up from the stock factory item.
IMO, It's a legitimate "upgrade in a box" that's cost effective, especially as it improves the sound of the bike if that's the main focus of your requirements, whilst improving ride-ability.

We got ONE set of full Akra pipes in stock, who wants 'em?!?! ;)

I think it is a mistake to focus more on the choice between the Akra and Termi systems than on getting a custom tune. These bikes respond well to custom tuning in my experience.

Here is the result from Lofgren custom tuning my Termi slip on equipped bike.

Significant peak horsepower increase over the up map provided with Termi slip ons and much improved mid range and partial throttle response. Tuning gives you much more improvement than the difference you would get between using either the Termi or Akra.

I've found only two flaws with my bike (1) Lack of 1198-esque midrange and (2) occasional right thigh roasting.

Looks like I can take care with the first one with Akrapovic, some tuning, and ... oh, another 1/4 of the bike's value when new :/

Still the dream if I come into some $$$
