No track bike first. Then r1 for team. Then later my 1299. Had to rearrange stuff.

I screamed, literally, when I saw it shaka. it looks awesome. om man. cant wait.

I would love to have an R1M, but I think the standard R1 will be awesome enough. My local dealer said first deliveries won't be till April. So we have time to wait.

i held off buying a panigale knowing there was planned an R1 of this calibre for so long and ended up giving in....i really think this thing is going to be one of those bike you can get on a ride fast/easy in no time, still don't know if i would have bought it over the pani because i prefer twins....but fu(k i want to ride this thing!!

I have only had one twin my current one but before I only rode R1's and this is what I had been waiting on for 2 decades. So damn hard to choose. Maybe this and a 899 or base 1199 for the track.

Yeah I'm a huge yamaha fan as well had 4 differs r1s. Sold my 1199 last year as I had a few problems with it and after they got resolved and the dealer taking over 10 months to fix it (long story) I got turned off. So I bought a r6 to rip around the track and now also added a 1098s to the stable for less the price than my 2012 r6 lol. But if I was to do it again, I'd be going with the 1299 base, no more s version for me. Although this yammy is very tempting.

.... lets get some reviews and shootouts on them already.

My problem is that I've put a lot of love into my Panigale, and to just go out and buy an R1 would be upsetting.....lol

Are you trading the Pani in on it? If not they could happily share the garage :D
