You can only choose one...
After a couple of years, I'm selling the full carbon RSV4 'cause it's a wee bit too compact for my frame. Scratching my head head for a while, reading and reading... finally I decided that the base 1299 was the way to go.
I was tempted by the R1, but once you've gone italian, no going back to the Japanese. Great bikes, but they just don't have that passion, that je ne sais quoi.
Ultimately, i don't care as much about being the fastest on the track as I do about how the bike makes me feel.This will be my first Ducati and I want to fall in love all over again. The R1 might be a harder sell.
