Aprilia RSV4 XTrenta

Yes Sir! That is gonna be toasty....down in the Caribbean this week so my tan will hopefully spare my usually pale northeast noggin' a bit. Last one of the season for me there, hopefully find a few more seconds and get close to low two minute mark.

Nice, yeah next month is beat the heat schedule already. Then our longggg summer break. At least there are the July Laguna Seca dates to help cool off and partake in the
lattes there. Bring your St Tropez tan with you...Hahahaha...See you there!!

I’ll be at Chuck tomorrow

Made a few changes to the bike fir tomorrow, running SC2 slicks from and rear fir the first time and running steel rotors with Z04 pads….I heated the tires to go bed the brakes tonight, huge difference in stopping power between the Sicom stuff with DOT slicks versus Z04’s with real track slicks, had the back tire off the ground a foot or two while bedding the brakes haha

Is that a Z04 thing? How is the initial bite with the Z04...is it grabby? Super scientific term drop.

Higher initial bite than the Sicom setup but manageable, so far I like it, and I’m very particular about brake feel, but will have a better idea after a session or two today

So far I like the Sicom setup better, it’s just more forgiving….but, I’ve only done one session and am still getting used to these.

Fairly easy to modulate and trail brake with the steel rotors and Z04 pads, but, if you feather on the brakes just a hint too hard they suddenly grab, but that just a matter of getting some laps in to adjust to.
