At what RPM do you mostly ride?

This is my first twin so I'm use to riding higher in the RPM range due all previous riding being done on an inline 4. I'm wondering what RPM most of you find yourself settling into while cruising down the highway. I find that I like to be between 5 and 6k as it has more power readily available.

around 4 when cruising, 7 to 8 when there are twisties.

Depends on my map. 120hp w/ dry settings: whole rev range. 195LO: up to 10K. 195HI: less because the bike is new andI am a giant pussy at least for now. Chicken strips are at least gone though.

Shame on you and that R.

What part of "giant pussy" do you not understand? :) One crash and this is most likely gone. Doesn't matter how much money you make or what you pay for insurance. I'm taking my time and riding it harder every day. I learned to "find the time" in my riding with my last bike...yes I dragged both knees on the street but it didn't mean I had to every corner.
