as you may know fraser import is the only ducati importer which controls the ducati market in australia.

im curious to know if things have gone well with the purchase, expectation from the dealer but also service maintenance.

if i was to purchase a panigale next year i really only have 2 places to service the bike.

service of the bike plays a big part
i can buy the bike no problems but if both places cant really offer the best service for my prized toy, so where do i go next?
 
funny u asked....

1: just pay w/e price they ask = u will never have any problems with your prized toy
2: try to tell them you can buy (DP) parts cheaper else where and it will void your warranty
3: expect things to fail even if you payed what they asked you
4: hey but this a Ducati its normal!

bottom line just be prepared to PAY! and you will have no problems at all

So far no complaints. Fraser's have been very helpful. As pointed out, it's not cheap.
 
Also no complaints, brought mine from Frasers Sydney and so far they have been more than professional. Very happy.

I've been happy with Metro in Ringwood - haven't had to service the bike yet (cos I only picked it up yesterday) but the BS factor hasn't been the same as with other dealerships I have spoken to.
 
Bought from Fraser's Sydney

Poor service from my perspective.
I have been lied too and misled on a couple of things.
Got my bike back from service with grease and fingerprints all over it.
Arrogant attitude, like they are doing you a favour by selling you a bike.
 
If you aren't happy with your dealer, fill out the online survey Ducati/owners.com. Your opportunity to crucify your dealer if you're treatment was really that bad...
 
Yeh I walked in to frazers ready to buy, was not impressed by the elitist attitude of the staff. North side Ducati were nice guys and happily they got my $$ instead.

Frazers were quoting the same delivery time; end of October. North side called me and offered me their in stock base model with 200km on it that I could have rode home that arvo on. $500 off wasn't enough to sway me, should have considered the wait a bit more. Lol. At least north side chucked in a free first service too. Frazers said pay up or piss off in more words.
 
If you want it get it, you won't regret it. The first service was less than the 500 bucks discount. Actually I am surprised they would give anything off.

Also be carefull with the pipes, they are a ....... to fit, and there is more to it than you think, plus the dash and ecu needs to have a map upgraded. I paid the price at Frasers and they fitted for free and did all the above, plus some later fine tuning. A small price to pay for peace of mind. Just saying.
 
I was pretty sure the redline had been ignored for that first 200km and if I'm buying a new bike I want a NEW bike. The next guy they offered it to snapped it up though.
I'm not doing pipes right away, maybe never. Buying the base is way more than I've ever paid for any vehicle and a bit of a stretch. I'll just have to make to with the stock base model but I'm sure it'll still make me fairly happy.
 
Actually you could easily live with the standard pipes, they are already loud, just get the exhaust flapper valve disconnected, as it cuts in at urban speeds and the bike goes silent.

fraser fitted the full termi for free or just the slip ons?:confused:
