Tries to reason with people - 10 posts
Talks about options to reduce thread creep - 3 posts
Looks at screenshot and realizes he is a dingleberry - priceless

Dang...3rd place. I give up - I'm done. :)

Why do you care????? I have never even used that option. Just enjoy your bike, this forum - or not - but just relax man. Scott's already gone over the edge, hope you don't as well ;)

Trauma,

why do you care, and what option are you speaking of? I do enjoy my bike! ;)

I meant the option of displaying how many OPs posted to a thread - and I KNOW you love your bike, because it's a Panigale!

Me, too. And I might enjoy it more with a really nice Inconel exhaust system that ups the power a bit....which brings us back to the point of this thread!

Rich, can you enlighten me as to the effect of blocking off the air injection ports in general operation. Is this something that should be done just for tuning, or as a permanent part of exhaust installation?

It's my understanding that this is done to burn residual hydrocarbons in the exhaust stream, thereby reducing emissions. I suspect that disabling air injection might harm the catalytic converter in the OE mufflers, but not with an aftermarket system. The consumption of these hydrocarbons inside the exhaust might also contribute to the rumored heat problem with 1199. Reckon blocking air injection permanently with an aftermarket system is a good idea, or is it unnecessary?

Greater heat causes dingleberries to shrivel. :p

There...now I have four posts in this thread!

You actually have 0, bcause all 4 were worthless- especially now that you are pretending to want the pipe.

Well...all I got out of this thread was everyone loves their bike/scooter/cooter. Thats the first sign of people agreeing on anything here! Its a miracle! Oh, and I guess there is a soap opera/reality show kind of entertainment value.:D

This is the only Cooter I ever knew. I liked him, but I certainly didn't love him!

It would be nice if all the people that don't have an AR pipe but hate the product and Rich would start a thread and post all their useful information there.

It would also be nice if vendors quoted accurate information about their product without slamming their competition and threatening other members in the process. But that ain't gonna happen. AR has a website, so go there for info. If you have a question, contact AR directly. Forums work better for unbiased owner provided information, that is their intention.

I was just over on the S1000RR forum and it doesn't seem to have the same problems we do here. Granted, I only sampled a few threads, but they seemed like a helpful bunch. I wonder if it's worth selling the Pani and picking up an HP4 for the forum switch alone? :)

Does AR have a thread on there????

Aside from the AR threads and the Onearm threads, this actually has been a very informative and helpful forum for me.

Even in burried in the AR threads, Waf's info, dyno charts, and overall experience was very helpful. Based on those threads, I just went with Termi slips, saved a LOT of money, and happy with the modest midrange power boost, which is more important to me as mostly a street rider.
