You test rode it???

Spent an hour on a R. Comfortable, well behaved bike. As I said on this forum before (and caught .... for on the Ape forum) the bike felt slower and compared to the Pani, a bit boring. I think anything is going to be boring compared to the Panigale.
After an hour on the Pani, my poor old bones felt like they got hit by a bus. An hour on the Ape, I was ready for another hour.
The Duc is off the chart cool, but if I can't enjoy it, other than art, why keep it.

Fair enough... I will say that I find the 1199 the most comfortable sportbike I have ever ridden/owned... But we are all different and I think if you have found a bike that fits you better that's awesome... My dealers refuse to offer anyone a test ride and given that its really impossible for me to comment from an ergonomic or ride standpoint....but I am very impressed with everything I have read about it....2014 will be a very interesting year for bikes lots of new models coming out so could be a good time to be buying....

Pretty amazing how different people find the ergo's. On .Org in the Pani section,
there is a thread about this. Many think the Pani is easier to ride than the 1098. I put 15K on my 1098 and was very comfortable on it.

Thank you Rich.
But if I have a problem, I place myself at a lower cost'll fix it! Make a new bracket would cost me $ 15-20.

I have been using your system for AR22 RSV4 Factory. For 3 years - 0 problems! Only admiration and enjoyment of quality and sound!))

I look AR - philia is a very dangerous disease. Some of the individual corroded brain .. Or the fact that there was before.

Thanks

Enjoy the systems as believe it or not i am simply a bike enthusiast that started producing bike exhausts as F1 is so boring.

I do it because i love doing it.

If i didn't then i would become a farmer.

That's very cool Rich! I don't think you've ever shared what you ride? Btw, in the US there are a lot of wealthy farmers!

I reckon farming would be way simpler:)

I ride an RSV4 APRC

I had a Panigale for our research and did entend keeping it as my ride but to be honest the V4 just feels the better bike to me. Push it hard and the Panigale scared me to death and nearly killed me!

Oh no what have i said ;)

I dunno. I went to a John Deere store recently and I can't imagine turning wrenches on some of those giant farm class tractors. The cockpit technology was amazing...like flying a small plane.

If you have ever watched "Modern Marvels" they had a show about such things...and they have numerous Tractor/Harvester machines that are Gps guided and do not even need a driver... Amazing...and they cost millions of course but the Tech is awesome...

Yeah, I was climbing around inside them and kicking the tires (some of them had like 10 tires). Like a kid in a candy store. :)

Better be glad you didn't kick the tyres of a Kia...have you seen the ad where that Alien looking woman gets upset at the guy kicking the tyre and gives him an atomic wedgie and hoofs him against the wall???
