Australian Delivery - 10 May

Hi all,

Just letting everyone know that I was advised today that my 1199 S will be delivered to Brisbane Motorcycles on 10 May 2912. I would imagine that this is the first delivery as my deposit was paid last Novembeer. Can't wait to get this stinking Kangaroo and into a real mode of transport

lucky you !! i placed my deposit on Jan and i got an sms saying late july/early aug.

Awesome! ..... seems second delivery is set for June10th (tentative). Will be nice to see one with a number plate that isn't a yellow billboard. The billboard probably explains the top speed discrepancies for some of the euros.

Did they mention anything about a launch night towards he end of the month? I called them last week to get an update and they said they would put it on their FB page shortly and that TB would be there for it. I put my deposit down in early Jan and they said my bike would get here in the second shipment in June.

I'm expecting a call from Jason this morning and will ask about the launch night with Troy.

I would imagine that the launch date might be closer to the 10 May when the first shipment arrives.

I am really keen to hear from other folk about the smoke on start up and whether it actually clears up after the first service at 1000km.

Accessory wise, I haven't ordered anything yet. We will see how it looks in the flesh.

First easy track day planned for 27 May at QLD Raceway.

You guys are lucky to get this info etc, I haven't heard boo from the dealer about anything really, although when I was last down his way (which is rarely) 6 weeks ago he looked up the tracking system which still said 10 June.

I got 3 calls yesterday from fraser Sydney asking when I paid my deposit and what model. Just to be told I missed out on the first delivery, and I'm number two on the second delivery. ;(

ive got to say, frasers worry me,ive only dealt with them a few times,parts for my 996 and deposit for my tricolore,i havent heard squat about the tricolore and they ...... my order for the 996 and where dicks about it,whos a good duc dealer in aus??

Ive always found Frasers to be great. I was talking to one of the guys there and they have orders for over 200 Panigales (but from what Ive heard theres been a few cancellations as well). Give them a call, they'll help you out.
