No, Frasers are as bad as they get and dont deserve the Ducati rights.

Couldn't agree more. ....'in ......s.
they are so up themselves, salesman always boosting about how many his sold. "I don't give a rat ass how many you sold."
treat customers like S.H.I.T !!!!
Talk in the most arrogant tone.

That's why i didn't buy from them.

If anyone from fraser is reading this... "Customer Service m*&ther*kers."

I've had the same experience with Frasers', they are so arrogance and hard to deal with. Just incase anyone cares I know there will be a Ducati 1199 at V-Twins Coffs Harbour today.

Bit more news....Craig McMartin who has been running in a Pani S for the superbike shootout has now done a few laps around Eastern Creek and even though he had to do them with the boss watching to make sure he didnt bin it, lapped faster than his 1198 race bike.

He also said smoke was completely gone after 6oo k's. He also said this is a fantastic bike around town compared to any of the other Ducati sportsbikes.

Re Smoke issue....I watched a 3km old bike start up about 20 times and it is nothing and all the hype surounding it is a load of .....

As for the kickstand...anybody who has been around Ducati's for a long time will find it really easy, anybody else will go looking for it.

Jungles T shirt say's it all:D

When the bike arrived it was still in bits.....so it was pretty interesting seeing it put together and feeling how light the tank is. I managed to get a few pics, but nothing exciting as I couldnt stop staring at it:D
The passenger seat is not much bigger than my hand and like a rock:D
One thing when I walked into the workshop that I noticed is the rear tyre does not look like it is a 200, more a 180.
Anyway a few more pics.......just so someone can complain that there is enough all ready:D

Yeah, from the straight back view the tire does look narrow. From the side view, it looks a lot bigger (wider) than the 190 on the 1198, if that makes sense. It must have a taller profile than the outgoing tire . . ?

No complaints about the pics, haven't really seen any with the side fairings removed.

Yes it does have a very tall profile,I assume this is why it still corners well.

Yeah, it must be nice to be Ducati, and have a major tire manufacturer at your beck and call to design a bespoke, wider tire with a bigger contact patch, that still allows your bike to some how manage to handle quicker. :) The premium we pay is well worth it.

Funny you should say that as we were all standing around saying exactly the same thing.:D
This bike is stunningly beautiful, built with soul......The first tweak on the throttle and it snaps into life with a crisp clear bark and then just rumbles away with a sound that brings music to your ears......cant wait to hear it with the full system on.
Unfortunetly it arrived with 3km and departed with the same.....orders from above. But just hearing and seeing this bike was enough to know that Ducati have built something special and I cant wait to ride it.
Here is a couple of frontal pics.

Whoever is going to make a rad guard for this thing has a job ahead of them.

Looks cleanly put together in there.

Just got back from Brisbane Motorcycles and was advised that the Brisbane launch date will be around the 10th May. Would you believe that I was asked if they could use my bike for the launch. I relied "no fucken way, unless there were some free termis thrown in".

Apparently there will be a invite sent out in the mail shortly.

Did you spot something like a wire that could go to power a GPS or an iPhone?

I spotted plenty of wires.....who knows what went where though.

Looks very, ummh, well, anatomical

Very nicely put:D

Here is a comparison from behind, you can see the extra height and width of the bars.
It's funny how pics make the tail look a bit fat or deep, but in fact it is slender and looks small compared to the 1198.

Yup, 1x98 was always a bit of a fat arse :p

Look how high the mirrors also appear - may actually be useable
