Great to hear some of the Aussies are starting to get their bikes. I stopped in to chat with the Guy's at Ducati Noosa and there was a Tri there waiting to be picked up.

Speaking of Noosa here are some pics for some of you that surf....was on for about 4 days and the rides where 200m+ long:D

Had my Tricolore for 2 weeks now and done 500km (4 rides of around 125km each). All my rides have been in hills and highways. The heat is very noticeable in the suburbs, this is going to be a difficult bike to ride in summer going for runs to the beach etc. So far I have only ridden in Wet mode as I want to really notice the difference after the run in service. The bike is amazing, handling is sublime and you can just feel it wanting to go faster and harder. I have adhered to the 6K limit but there have been a few times where it felt like it could have just kept going. This is my first super/sports bike after riding nakeds for a long time so I am still getting used to the riding position and I have a tendency to want to sit upright all the time, which is putting pressure on my forearms and wrists. Another observation is how thirsty the bike is, averaging around 7-8L/100km. I guess this is the price we pay for such an incredible machine.

Surf looks good! To bad there is a million people on that one break, think i might just stick with Yamba spots :p

Didnt really matter how many people were out as there where waves for everybody....From the take off to the beach was about 300m + and then you walked back along the road.

I surfed Saturday with 5 people out and Sunday afternoon with 11, Monday and Tuesday it maxed out at about 3m with offshores all day everyday and same no people in the afternoon session........best I have seen Nationals since the early 80's.....same as Angourie during that time.....no people:D

I saw lots of waves go like this ...unridden.

Just picked up mine up today, someone couldn't pick up there's for another few weeks so he and the guys at metro allowed me to take his place. Really great for them to do so.

All I can say its damned awesome, still getting acustomised to everything but its simply a pleasure. Was 16 in Melbourne today and did get a lil hot in traffic, so suggest you stay the hell away from it. And the sound... real angry, makes anything else sound rubbish

Congratulations mate, hope you enjoy. I am anxiously awaiting notification that mine is in Brisbane early next week. I will be away from Monday to Thursday, but hoping it will be ready to pick up on Friday.
