hi guys
i got a call on monday, said i could have my bike early, apprently a few people pulled out of there tri color, so im picking up on saturday, also went to launch party last night

lucky .......Hi all,
Just letting everyone know that I was advised today that my 1199 S will be delivered to Brisbane Motorcycles on 10 May 2912. I would imagine that this is the first delivery as my deposit was paid last Novembeer. Can't wait to get this stinking Kangaroo and into a real mode of transport

bought 2011 848 evo at Brisbane Motorcycles in november, traded it on 8 February, left it at dealership there and then and placed an order for 2012 Pannigale base. ETA early September.

launch party was a lot less special than some of the overseas ones ive seen on youtube, but still good,
they had a S and TRI there, and about 80 odd people, and a few celeb people there
food was good, beer was free
i only took a few pics of the bikes, nothing special, just a worse pic than u have already seen.

Yep. Not cool to hear that. But such is life.
I actually scored. I put my deposit down in about Feb/Mar but have managed to pick up the bike from someone who changed their mind.
So I can't really complain. Lucky there aren't going to be too many TCs in little ol' Perth so the delivery has come forward quite a bit for me.
(Still past the original ETA though)
There is now a TC sitting in the window at Frasers. It's... just... there...

Believe me , the dealers out here in Cali did not over order! I've been waiting since last nov. !!! We are all waiting!
Maybe not where you are but theres been plenty of posts with guys saying they didn't wait. Anyways doesn't matter
Mine was suppose to be off the boat yesterday. Have not heard an update from the dealer yet. It will get here when it gets here. I have an 848 at the moment. would love to hear some thoughts from someone who has upgraded from and 848 to 1199.

My delivery date of the 10th has been and gone without a word from dealer. Not surprising people have given up after that kind of lack of service. As always in Australia happy to take money and do sweet FA in return..

Yep, also have heard nothing. I assume we are all still waiting on 2nd load. I'd rather hear nothing than get my hopes up with false starts like some of the other poor buggers have had to go through. Dollars down in mid Jan.
Not sure about this 'delivery' or 'shipment' business though.
The dealer here received one. Sat in the show room until the owner could pick it up which was a week or two.
Then they received another one a bit later.
Then they received a Tri another couple of weeks after that one.
And mine is expected a couple of weeks after that one.
So, it seems to be a constant flow, which is a bit weird. Or, they're taking their time uncrating them. Don't know.

I called Brisbane Ducati today and as far as they know, my bike is still arriving in Sydney on Sat 16th. I will be at a mine site in Central Qld until Thursday next week, so I am hoping it will be ready to pick up next Friday.....
