I assume you think we're talking about Melbourne FL?

finally saw it in the flesh...photo's does not do it justice...absolutely blown away... speechless.

I picked it up today.
Did 200ks running in, taking the rest of the week off.
Guys, if you are Ducati guys, you will love this, simply stunning.
It's loud, it's stiff, it's alive, it's a Ducati all right. Running in to 6k revs, is stil enough to be fun, feels like my BMW S1000RR in position and handling and a hot 748R up to 6, you can feel this will be awesome when unleashed.
The dash is overpowering, took an hour to get briefed, but, guys, oh this thing rocks. It feels as alive as a 1098R but does not have that monstrous torque, it feels almost 4 cylinder, but a twin if that makes any sense.
Sen bloody sational

Checkmate for sure

Thanks for your update, sounds awesome... You get the linkage set to flat or progressive?

It was set at Flat, and it is real stiff, I only weigh 70kgs the manual doesn't shed much light on this, just says don't use F for pillion, I will never pillion on thisI will wait till I get serviced the techs were not sure also.

From everything I've read and seen, and Ive wasted a lot of time doing it.. Flat for track ...progressive for Road(which obviously includes pillion). When I get mine delivered I will make sure it's set to progressive.

Great, thanks sick of hearing all the wingers on this forum. Can not wait for mine to rock up. Looking forward to hearing a few more updates from you.

Mate, there is nothing to whine about. No smoking, stand is easy to get at, engine is smooth, fueling perfect, power shift is so easy and as good as the Beemer, ergonomics are for me perfect, handling is just effortless, electronics and dash are totally new world, and did I mention the sound?, this is a game and life changer, and is sitting now next to my "old girl" with none of the above.
I just did a loop today I have done so many times on my R and this is well, perfect, nothing to whine about.
Thanks Ducati.

Any of the guys from oz on the second shipment receive any updates or told their bike was on the water? Haven't heard anything from my dealer... Was scheduled for June 10

which shop did you buy from?

I'm also scheduled on the 2nd and haven't heard didly squat. The last I heard was June 10 and that's what I'm still hoping for. Order was placed in Jan.

Yes I was told I was on the second shipment. Dealer advised mine is on the water and expected to arrive in customs on the 6th of June :D. They said it will more than likely take 10 days to get through customs and to tassie. Not long now !!!!!. My mate ordered the tri. Looks like early August. We ordered at the same time.
