You reckon this bloke looks like a Wally:D

No mate no RD wish I had though and my Elsinore 250 and Husky WR360.

I used to race at Barbagello and also did a street race at Geraldton which was pretty awesome......there was a few Rd's and TZ'd around those days, so it made for some great racing.

I am actually over the border in NSW living in the layed back area of the Northern Rivers:D

A Pani get together with the guy's from here would be a great idea.....who is going to PI this year ???

So the way I see it ...

We could all get our jollies.

Mrmaloo, mrwallaroo and I (and others of course) could turn up at DeltaIV's place and enjoy a bit of a ride and a yarn. Of course we'd be helping the younger folk (that's you DeltaIV) with understanding old timer's humour

There's still only one problem. No Panigale. :(

Wally (is that an acceptable derivative of Wallaroo?) ... you still got your RD350?? I reckon there'd not be many dry eyes if you did and we could hear it start up and watch you ride it round the block. :D

Surely i won't be the only one remembering things like Amaroo Park and RD350's and TZ350's. :D

An RD350 was stuff legends were made of for all young bikers with the TZ racer derivative looking better than sex (well almost )

Will be bring my other ol mate who's got a duc like flyingbulldog's black duc in http://ducati1199.com/ducati-1199/581-eternal-tease.html 'parently it's pretty special, will see if I can get a pic

My S slated for delivery here in Perth 18th/19th earliest, if not then w/c 21st.

Hey you guy's remember the first 916's to come here and due to our laws then we had to have these lights.....wonder where all those light's are now:D

The Ugliest Ducati 916 in the World | Ducati News Today

Hey Wallaroo old mate ... I've seen them :D

They sell them at my Bunnings. They're the $10 builders spotlight that sit beside all the other ones made in China. I reckon they were the left overs from the job lot of 916 spare parts, so they added a small clip stand and we can now all buy one!

You're recollection made me wonder .... why, if you ever see a 916 for sale they only ever have a side photo. (Just check out bikesales.com.au) Makes sense really. But hey an old 750SS has side, front, rear etc etc etc photos. Which just goes to prove that if you've got something beautiful you'll take as many photos as you can of it.

Anyone got a collection of Elle Macpherson photos? If you're lucky enough you won't just have a side view would you ?? :D:D:D

And did you notice the battery on the 916 in that photo? Looks like you could start my mates Landcruiser with that

And ... you should let everyone know how good your riding roads are up your way. They're magic in a car (I haven't been on them since getting back on a bike) and would be even better on a Panigale. Do you have a favourite?

Lol.....Yeah now I remember seeing them:D

Hmmm I reckon Elle looked good from all angles, some of the best were in the movie Siren's:D

Yeah they did have big batteries then, actually mine in the 996 is huge compared to the Pani.

My favourite section of road is the Burringbar range.....3 lanes the whole way, with not one straight in sight, super smooth and perfect for a Duc:D
Then there is the Mount Lindsey run and the run from Casino to Tenterfield, both of those have every imaginable corner you could ever want and no boy's in blue.
A lot of the roads have been a bit hammered by the rain we have had up here the last 2 summers, but in some places that got washed out they have replaced with nice new hotmix, so hopefully that will continue.

Aaahhhh SIRENS ;);) See what the young one's may have missed out on !!

Elle would be like a good road - not a straight bit on her and all the curves are worth hugging :D:D

I've heard good reports before on the Mount Lindsey run and even if I'm just driving (car) up to Brissie or Gold Coast I could do a detour to the Burringbar road. Sounds like a plan, and yes, the road crews may have done a full resurface by then. Perfect for a Duc !

Thanks mate :D:D

Will be definately taking some professional p0rn shots of the bike when I get my hands on it... Second shipment so still at least a month off. I pray to the Ducati gods they somehow stuff and put mine in the first shipment. The weather is turning .... though in melbs.

Ive been meaning to go PI....just surf there...havent popped the trackday cherry

Hey guy's NFI dynoed 1199S with Superstock exhaust, 192HP at rear wheel, not bad eh:D

Bit more...Jeff Nash at Advanced Motorsports in Texas has similar figures for stock 177hp, stock with headers and termis 185.

Delta PI has great surf, I always look forward to getting down there for that reason.

Good dump results - thanks Wallaroo - hoping for close to 185 with just Tricolore termis and nothing else (I'm a realist - I won't be needing the full system ... Well maybe not for the first 3 months LOL)

PI sounds good especially as we should have our 1199s by then. Mate with 1198s has been making rumblings about going ... and the bride has given a conditional ok

To revisit the title here, those in the first shipment is this date still sticking??

Cheers.

Yes I am still told it will be 10 to 12th in Sydney.

Not long, Cheers

Apparently they've got the 1199 down at Ringwood next friday and saturday. I'm just happy I get see one in the flesh
