I’m just waiting for Craig or bp to tell me 2+2 doesn’t equal 4. And then Steven will tell us that he does multivariable calculus when he has trouble doing basic arithmetic 😂

I’m waiting for you to start tracking your bike and learning to actually do this stuff, or attempt it, and then offer your experiences.

I think you should do it with your spring rates way off, your seat and foot pegs and clipons out of whack, and no tank grips if any kind. Because you should learn to ride before you set your bike up to your ergonomic.

At Chuck this weekend, put up a new PB (2:09….nothing to write home about but steady improvement for me) and the magic was to drop the bike into Low power mode, I actually had higher top speeds on the short straights due to better roll speed into corners and driving out of them stronger with earlier throttle.

This place has changed the way I brake as well, “lighter and longer” bumped that roll speed up and got rid of any unsettled moments prior to corner entry.

@Jolly Roger V4 Stop by Garage 8 or tell me what your tow vehicle is and I’ll find you if you are around tomorrow, not lattes but we do have coffee!

White Dodge Ram, I'll swing by this morning...

My only trackday winz were doing a 1m10s (13 sec off lap record) on my bog-stock 675 at BeaveRun (aka PIR North) and then subsequently sending the bike into the field. And lapping the whale that was a Daytona 955i around Nelson Ledges without dying.

How’s your tuck going???

No not that tuck… hahahah 😂

Was that in 1978?

Back in the summer of 69’, with you and your boys from school?

Steven trying to be witty is the opposite of entertaining 😂

Seriously bruv. You asked. I told. Then you try to take a dig at me.

I may not be the fastest on track these days but I try to have solid fundamentals. People who think trackdays are for dick measuring and setting fastest lap times are the worst (I was one of them 10 yrs ago). For me trackdays are for increasing one’s control and comfort zone at speed. Shouldn’t be pushing more than 7-8/10ths at a track day. Anyone who’s tracking lap times in B’s is an idiot. That’s just my philosophy 🤷‍♂️

But I’ve been on the other side of this thinking. I got straightened out by a mentor who dressed me down in front of my group for charging too hard. Steven’s “demon on the brakes” attitude in B’s is prob so frustrating for the other riders is group. He’s probably (unintentionally) dive bombing, super slow in the corner, and then all over the place on exit and the straights. Again, I was there 10 yrs ago.

I do actually pay attention and not undercut anyone if it’s gunna be too close, and you get a sense of the riders ability your passing and how close you can make it without getting them out of sorts.

Most of the people in group B brake so early that if you on them already you can brake late enough to get COMFORTABLY around them without upsetting their line.

Don’t mischaracterize it, I have fun, but I’m not rude or unsafe to other people.

I think, as long as no one crashes, everything is fair on track 🤩

You're on a race track, not outside Starbucks!

Even then, as long as no-one gets hurt, probably still OK.

I mean, as long as everyone is still conscious when the bikes are are out of the gravel, still OK.

OK, OK, as long as no-ones latte gets spilt, we're all good 👍

If you’re going to pick on me, at least do it in a witty way.

Because most of the people in B’s are learning the right way and focusing on corner exit not entry.
