right, I replied under assumption brake lines are direct and not going into ABS.

I don’t think they provide braking data for non-ABS bikes without additional sensors.

If you want to fit additional sensors then there’s also the option of upgrading DDA to the Supersport version but then you’re still stuck with the Prosa software (I can get CSV output for data overlays but AIM just builds that in).

I guess you could also use i2m dash, it should support various sensor inputs?

For me that's circa £2000 or even £3500 for data analysis. With respect Spooky given your posted lap times for Brno....there is an awful lot of stuff to improve on, be made aware of, get proper coaching with, before you need to analyse data with such scrutiny. Of course the information is incredible and useful but I could see a proper rider analysis coach (not some ........ brake later get on the gas earlier crap) improving you in massive gulps of seconds over a three day event than worrying about or paying that much attention to did you brake at 10 bar or 8...

Interesting didn't realize they make the whole package now.

Is it ACC unit that connects analog sensors into Aim Solo Dl2 ?

And second question, how do you connect motorbike's CAN bus into aim solo if a slot already used by ACC ?

back to my its £3500 as you would want the camera too to overlay the information. that's an awful lot of 121 coaching.

Interestingly working with Porsche cars there is a track precision app you can download to your phone, tie it in to the PCM on the car and record a lap which overlays the data to the recording. Great bit of kit.....

Just over £2,600 inclusive of VAT for the full package.

If I only had that money available then I’d agree - training would be what I would be spending that on. I don’t need to make that choice - if I did then I’d agree with you.

Every time I go to the track I have training. Being told what you are doing and what you should be doing is invaluable. Having the trainer’s video so you can actually see the reality (you think you are hanging off in a certain way but see that you are not doing that) adds to the training. It’s a data point that shows reality, and reality often does not match feelings. Being told something is one thing but actually seeing it is another thing entirely. It also reinforces belief and confidence in what you are being taught.

Having the data I am talking about reinforces that and is useful. As I improve I expect it to be of greater value.

Regarding braking, and other data points, at this point I am more interested in general terms - rather than how much specific brake pressure I use I am more interested in how far into a corner I am actually applying the brakes to see if I am actually still applying braking pressure at a certain point or not - am I really trail braking when I think I am doing it and am I doing it as effectively as I think I am doing it. At this point it’s useful to see if I am doing what I think I am doing. For faster rides it becomes a tool to see where they can get those small gains that add up. I brake early but lightly at this stage.

I used that on a 911 I had in the UK and it was pretty cool. It’s shame that the DDA/Prosa development seemed to have stopped with the first iteration. It could be a lot better.

don't you also need the Data logging telemetry stuff too for things like brake pressure?

The track kit includes the Solo 2 DL and brake pressure data is available using the V4 cable (you need to select the kit that’s specific to the model - the one I linked to).

If you look at the details of the specific cable for this kit you can see what data is available:

The technical sheet confirms this:

Some further information in a review (from 2014) confirming that it’s the ABS models that can provide this data:

I just saw this after I posted in your DA thread - def down for the AIM setup, but I cannot do the AIM camera setup - too exp and bulky. I Had multiple GoPro issues that I was whinging about in my thread but I returned the 11s and got 12s and had no issues but I only used them a couple times
