I‘m a little on edge on lost bolts. 2 of my mirror bolts vibrated loose recently

Get titanium bolts and screws, they cost so much that they make you extra careful about losing them lol

I have a magnetic tray for bolts and screws because I’m so clumsy and anal about losing them, and I use that magnetic tray out of habit even though titanium doesn’t magnetize lol

About to pull the trigger on this as a Christmas present to myself.

Has anyone ran across one in the wild yet?

I replaced my mirror hardware with stainless sourced from a local hardware store installed with a washer. They tend to stay tight and are still magnetic, which is super handy in case they drop and you need a magnet on an extension to pick them up.

I didn't know they were that expensive. $1.3k for a maybe an end of production model seems reasonable at that price point.

The only caution I'd have is that carbon helmets can have a lot of noise.

Limited production = $$$. Seems they only make a 300 of them per year. I’ll use it as my track helmet. My current Corsair X is 5 years old but still going strong.

I don’t think they’re end of production. They just renewed the RX7V line up with the Evo with new ECE rating. They also came out w the FIM version dedicated to racing. It’s a proven design.

I mean do you but this is hectic rabbit holing. That won't be beneficial and it looks terrible

Hectic is a mischaracterization. I’ve been pretty deliberative actually. I’ve been wanting to move the bike to a WSBK style of seating and tank, with the wider longer seat to accommodate my body size better.

Rade Garage seems to have the easiest to attain and install option for that. That does not involve sourcing a WSBK tank, and subframe, and seating, and fairings etc.

I’m going to have it custom painted to match the rest of the bike so it will look fine, though, very few of the mods that I’ve done to the bike were for aesthetics.

So you are getting a plastic tank setup for a better seat? The Race Seat It wide flat seat is close enough

If you really want an SBK seat you could certainly have a bracket fabbed to make this work

@KarlKani I think he’s talking about giving himself more room on the bike (length) rather than just a different or wider seat. I seem to remember him discussing this topic in the past. I could be wrong. 🤷‍♂️

This Raceseat.it seat will .... up your 22 tank big time. I trimmed mine to where thought it'd work and it still got into the paint.
