Beware of fairings from VulturBike

I accessed VulturBike due to seeing the reviews on here and through other resources. Wow, was I surprised to experience what I did.

I purchased a carbon pass seat pad cowling for my V4S. Prior to the purchase, I asked about UV protectant and possible fitment issues. VulturBike stated there wouldn’t be any fitment issues and their clear coat would have UV protectant, so I purchased the part.

Upon receiving the part, it didn’t fit. There is a huge gap on the right side and it fits flush to the left side. I also tried it on other 2023 Panigale V4’s and the result was the same. I sent VulturBike pics and an email about the fitment issues I was experiencing, and their response was for me to stop complaining. After questioning them about their lacking customer service and advised them I was going to paste all of this on the forums they apologized and stated it was a communication issue with English. INTERESTING. They then stated, while the part doesn’t fit, it’s expensive to send things back through customs, so I would be responsible for all costs associated with shipping the item back; even though they shipped me an item that doesn’t fit correctly. They are also creating a huge headache with PayPal, stating there’s something wrong with my bike, and all the other bikes, and it is my responsibility.

Just wanted to share this, as I will not purchase anything from this org again, and I would have never done business this time if I would have known that they will ship out parts that don’t fit and try to stick you with the bill and additional costs.

I attached pics below. I can fit my finger in the gap due to the gap’s size.

I take it the passenger seat fits as it should? Is there anything you can notice between the passenger seat and carbon fiber part dimension wise that would point to exactly where its wrong?

Yes, the pass pad fits as expected. We took measurements of the hole on the underside of the carbon cowling, and it appears to be offset, hence keeping the cowl from being able to be manipulated or pushed to the side to be more centered. VulturBike is still resistant to accepting what’s shown in the pics, states it’s the bike and not the part, and refuses to rectify the situation. It’s a shame I got scammed for the price.

Ooof I feel for you. Been there with crap part and crap customer service.

There Returns page says that you can return it in 14 days as long as it’s not a custom job or “professional” what ever that means. You’ll have to eat the cost of shipping. Or you can possibly take it up with your credit card company

If it is just the mounting hole position rather than a fundamental lopsided build, you could simply drill a new one in the correct place. A finger width means about 8 mm offset so you shouldnt have to fill the existing hole. I know it's a customer service issue, but you could do a deal where they refund you say 1/2 and you live with the repaired version. Thats what i would do rather than having to suck up double postage.

The only carbon fiber anything I've ordered that came and fit perfectly was from Fullsix. Lower belly pan. Everything else (mostly Motocomposites) required some kind of fitting to get it to work. CF parts are such a .... show due to how they are manufactured. It's not an exact science. Well, it is, it's just that CF techniques aren't readily up to the task. CF as it exists now is a very labor intensive wasteful process to get parts made.

When it’s bigger and more complex body panels they seem to always have some warp too, so you have to flex them into place at multiple attachment points. But I’ve just accepted that as part of ordering bigger CF panels.
