Hello all,

Unfortunately I have only joined to warn everyone here of a Panigale rider who was travelling northbound filtering towards the Blackwall Tunnel this morning at 8:30am.

Filtering very close to my rear wheel and revving his engine even as I was going at a good enough and safe speed through traffic, then moving to the newrside filtering lane and cutting in front of me forcing me to break, then putting his finger up and revving away.
He had all the new gear on, new jacket and helmet and a lovely bike.

If only his disgusting attitude could be as nice.
As a biker for many years I love the comtaderie that is had and being part of a biker culture is a great experience, I have risen at the TT, with police and am an advanced rider and trainer at times so to meet such a @&#% was disappointing.

I hope you read this Mr Anti Social and wind your neck in before the tarmac does it for you, from what I could see your riding could do with a lot of improvement apart from your attitude.

All the best to everyone else here.

Ride safe,
Carlos

If he's as careless as you describe, he'll be tasting hospital food or God forbid, wearing a wooden box pretty soon.

I have learnt people in general can be ......s doesn't change if they ride a bike.

He/she doesn't sound like the type to go for social media (or social anything) so I doubt they will be on here, but you never know. Maybe they were just having a bad day. What bike do you ride mate?

@Passive aggressive Carlos

Ahhhhh, in the age of perpetual complaining... You actually joined a message board to post up a complaint about someone. Wow. The world never ceases to amaze me.

I would peg you for a whining millennial, except that you gave us your CV on your advanced motorcycle skills, which no doubt took time to acquire (rolling eyes).

What stopped you from pulling up next to him and motioning for him to pull over and say this yourself to him ?

NOLA.

I Ride round the Balkans, that guy was an amateur at pissing you off, im with Nola on this.

F*ck confronting anyone these days heaps of people are off there chops (drugs) and have stabbed, shot and rammed the other person.

tough guy like NOLA dismounts to confront the ..... and next thing he knows he's in the hospital with his jaw wired shut = lose/lose.

tough guys......(that probably haven't been in a fight in decades lol -- go join an mma gym and get some perspective [hint: unless you're fighting in self defense or for $$$, it's a losing proposition every single time])......

When did this turn into a physical altercation ???? I said tell him this yourself. If he wants to man up and fight, then walk off. Its not worth any of that. Maybe he has some sense and doesnt realize he is riding like an ...... But seriously, passive aggressive ..... postings on a message board because you arent man enough to say what you mean. This is SO typical 2017 technology whining.

VAST, my occupation lends me to have to get into physical altercations on a regular basis. I have been in more fights with idiots in the last six months than you have since birth. I am older and wiser and learned to defuse things better, but sometimes thats just not possible.

dismounting as a civilian to possibly incur a "man up" moment: stupid. unless of course you have that little to lose. it's a numbers game in the end; not like mortality rate per mile traveled on motorcycle isn't bad enough as it is already lol

& obviously you picked a career choice that involves getting into fights, so sure your perspective would lead you to proffer up some dangerous and stupid advice. sorry, i'm calling it like how i see it -- my policy is to avoid any and all physical altercations.

be safe out there.

edit: my point, which wasnt well made, is that if an ..... rides on you like that in real life and you didn't get hurt and you don't need to engage him/her, then be on your way -- dealing with an ..... is always a losing proposition. posting on here about it IS A LOT SAFER ("....." passive-aggressive or what not notwithstanding, but then same could be "argued" for calling cops too, no?) and maybe said ..... reads this and reconsiders next time, though probably not.

And therein lies the differences between us. I deal with my problems as they arise, you run away from them.

Cops are called when the law is broken, not to solve argument between two adults. Most of society doesnt understand that simple theory.

quite presumptuous of you; i don't run per se, i just believe i have far more to lose than most, which factors into how i problem solve (quite diff from "running away"), esp when potentially dealing with ..... joe-racers harassing others as per this thread. does that make sense?

(i had a recent run in with a cop who totally and egregiously hassled me for what a judge what have thrown out of court, and with prejudice; i had to be respectful and didn't get that bogus ticket that he was intimating he could issue -- just pure statist police state type ...., but i handled him well enough [said problem solving and not running away nor being reactive] that i didn't get fleeced in his [illegal] quota scam. this cop actually tried to befriend me toward the end of his nonsense "warning".)

most of society, yeah, i won't make that generalization as i'm not out there like you stomping heads for whatever reason.

the law, sadly, can be legally (mis)construed to be broken by the average person multiple times a day in their just going about their usual business, and the ..... referenced in this thread could be considered a law-breaker, esp by an eager beaver quota filling cop.

"...the average person unknowingly breaks at least three federal criminal laws every day. This toll does not count an avalanche of other laws..."

I have been down this road many times with you. I am not turning this into yet another of your numerous tin foil hat, libertarian, nonsense arguments. I am sitting here shaking my head at myself for even going down this road and engaging you in conversation beyond egging you on to harass Mark.

You are right, the OP should have done nothing, been scared about his wits, and posted his grievance on the safe space of a message board.

I applaud your bringing it to my attention. And I am a f-ing ...... for even debating with you.

As far as I can see you were purposefully holding the guy up because you think you know better and you think everyone else should be doing your 'good enough and safe speed through traffic'? Revving a bike engine in London is a normal way to tell someone in front that you are there and please let me by. I live in London and if I have to then I ride there and I often come across people like this (you?) who purposefully block other road users because they think they are some kind of civilian police. The ironic thing is you boast of your advanced driving qualifications but you are happy to block other traffic and risk an accident. Next time instead of holding other people up and risking an accident, why not do the clever thing and let the guy by. This way you are not risking being in an accident and the guy is free to go and crash somewhere else if he really is as dangerous as you seem to think; which I very much doubt.

Very well stated. I'm with Vast on this, you can't really confront anyone these days or it would wise if you didn't have words with the individual in situations like these. You don't know what kind of state of mind they have or if they are packing. It's best just to diffuse the situation and become a dot whether you're on a bike or in a car. Remember the retired Naval officer was killed like this in a situation that escalated out of control in San Diego. It's not worth it.

Those are very personal choices and depend on if you can handle yourself or not but in this case there's no confrontation. The OP is holding the guy up and he just wants to get by.

let me screw on my tinfoil hat once more for you, and share not a conspiracy theory, but, rather, some more conspiracy FACTS:

the US locks up more people per capita than any other nation! over 2.3million and counting; to wit:

get in a fight and the majority of the time the only winners are the cops, the lawyers, the courts and their city/state; you generally lose no matter the outcome of your manly man up fisticuffs confrontation.

i could go on but my tin foil hat needs adjusting...
