BSD's BR-N clamp locates the switch body to the left of the clamping bolts. It looks like the issue here is caused by using the BR-A clamp that locates the switch body on the right side.

No need for a Domino throttle. Just go get the right clamp from BSD.

Interesting! How did I miss that!

Thank you for this.

Installed the BR-N clamps and they do allow for the MC to clamp right next to the throttle housing. This puts the brake lever in a position that gives it ample clearance.

Problem solved. Thanks again @BTrain5489

New problem is that now the fluid reservoir doesn’t clear the fairing. I don’t see how the supplied bracket would work either so my next step is to try the stock bracket from my SF pictured last and see if that’ll work.

Best solution for reservoirs if your up to it is to drill and tap the triple tree and centrally located them there by screwing the bracket to the new threaded wholes you make. If positioned right there are no clearance issues and the don’t block the screen.

Those reservoirs create lots of un-needed clearance issues when adjusting the clipons mounted anywhere else, compromises have to be made, but not if you just drill and thread two new holes in the upper clamp

‘Ladybird’ reservoir brackets work well.

Here’s an example but plenty of other online sellers.

I just ordered this and some tygon tubing… it looks like the most practical solution.

Thanks for the recommendation. 👍

I’ll share my results when they arrive and are installed.

I had the same issue on the 1199 when I installed the RCS. The supplied bracket wouldn't work so I used a bar end fitting to mount to the inner end of the bar.

On a side note, I also 3D printed a new back piece for the starter switch that allowed me to swap the MC and starter switch so I didn't have to install new buttons. It's a different design to the V4, but the idea might work depending on the factory arrangement of the bars.

Disco have you got any pics of your setup

I did a thread when I was prototyping:

I'll have to take a current pic which has a better finish later. But are some other development pics

You can get switches, that bolt to the master cylinder. And also, throttle housings that incorporate the buttons.

Not sure if this has already been covered, earlier in the thread!
