Hello,

I am in the process of buying a 1199 Tricolore.

I have two options to go with. Want to know what you guys think is the best?

1. 2012 Tricolore 800tot with Termignoni full (25OTD)
2. 2013 Tricolore 0tot (27OTD)

The 2012 has a few more mods nothing too crazy, they just did first service.
The 2013 is right out of the box.

Was leaning more towards the 2012 due to the full exhaust:confused:

Thank you for looking!, Alex

I would get the 2013 for resale value and recalls fixed...( and that's what I did :D)
There has to be more exhausts coming out in the future better than Termi (craftsmanship)but more cost effective than Akra....

2013. I'd get 2012 if it wasn't the first year.....

Got any pictures of your turbo? :)

I have a 991 GT3 on order...

Does the new 2013 one not come with a full system as well?

800km is nothing for the 2012... But given how many things were changed on my 2012 S for recalls - Id go 2013 since you will get all those changes out of the box.

But that's not saying that the 2012 has not already had those fitted.

- Look for the engine heat shields,
- Ask about the lower fairing by the horizontal pipe - older 2012 ones melted there.
- Check what heat shield comes with the exhaust
- Ask if the dash has been replaced - If so the Km would have been reset to 0.. sure its not the case but maybe your 800km is 800km on the new dash? (just things to ask)

Either way amazing machine - you will love it!

Wow I did not know all that. Thank you!

Nice! No more manual trans, even on the GT3, i have a red Turbo Cab (manual) and a Tri-Colore :)

I know...:(

Almost pulled the trigger on a 993 turbo S last summer.... biggest regret is that I didn't. Bought a Lamborghini instead but man that turbo S was MINT!

Countach? a'la Cannonball run ?:D

LOL don't have time for that amount of maintenance......

I have an 08 Superleggera. Also mint. 7000 miles when I got it. The thing is VICERAL with straight pipes... Not that fast (530hp) but lots of fun!

Sorry to go off topic.....I'd still say buy the 13 due to 12 being the first year of the 1199...
