Congrats man!!! Agurri!! Mamma mia, the bike looks unbelievable! I gotta say the rear pegs dont look that bad on the bike!

Thank you. There is not much more I can say on top of all the extra comments. It is unlike any other motorcycle I have ever rode. It is indeed a very dark horse.

Cali, thanks for the report and pic's of the pillion pegs and full system as you promised. it looks awesome. Enjoy it mate, good info and feedback!

Cheers again :D:D:D

Congrats on finally getting it home. Looks great. I really love the stocks heels on the tri as well and I won't be changing them.

Im about just over a month away from getting mine !!!!

C.o.u.n.t.i.n.g..... The days !!!!

+1 :)

Curious as to who told you about the shorai and voiding the warranty?

The only place where I could see an issue is if you used the shorai charger with the battery still hooked up to the bike. Otherwise, it's just a 12 battery like any other.

Chris

Suspension linkage is still set to Flat

CaliDuc - Congrats on the new Steed! I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as the rest of us. It's not perfect, though that's part of the charm.. :)

One note, I see from the pics that your suspension linkage is still set to Flat. Would advise changing that to Progressive prior to taking a pillion.

That's what I was thinking, curious to know what the reasoning is behind this.

Could you please elaborate?

This being an alarm system, I just wanted to advise that there is another Gentleman on the forum who has alternative installation experience. Whom, I assume if he wishes will private message you.

Thank you my friend. The rear pegs did indeed work out quite well, I believe that the optics lend themselves to the density created by the Termi manifold and pegs together.

See you soon.

As per the narrative, the tech who set up the bike. The risk is with putting in a Lithium battery in the Panigale, apparently Ducati briefed the techs when they visited New Orleans (for the USA market).

As advised, talk to Ducati.

He's welcome to do so, as I also plan to add the Ducati alarm on my bike.

Great thread and I am too about to order a Ducati Alarm system to be fitted before I take delivery week 2nd July. Any info on good or bad points gladly appreciated.

Thanks Gnome. With regards to the Ducati Alarm System, I only have two negative points and they are no GPS tracking and the installation location. Thats it. On the positives, the alarm is clearly designed for the bike and heavily integrated with the electrical system and with the actual DASH system (it has a light for alarm, and its current state). The alarm works well with anti-trembling, etc. The alarm is loud and performs well. It comes with two Ducati alarm key fob controls. Overall I am happy with it.

In addition I am still going ahead and getting a LowJack fitted. A LowJack is a vehicle tracking system.

Cheers for the heads up. I like the idea that if it is moved it will let you know. I am also looking at getting a Tracker Cat5 or a Bike tracker. The difference between the two is one is hooked up with the Police and the other one lets you know directly via mobile phone and you can track it via your computer. Like everything compromises from both systems.

"My women is a stunner who loves bikes and take it from me it was a very easy decision to have the passenger pegs installed :) It was her idea that I get the Tricolore."

Of course I think we'll need photograph verification of this:D

Congrats, I kept going back and forth on the S vs Tri... Ducati had to get RED...I really like what the Tri comes with and think overall a better package. Enjoy, I have heard they are really hard to come by...

Just back off riding in Socal... CHP pulled me over, checked it out and let me on my way....

I am reading your comments to her and she is laughing. She will accompany me to the California Bay Area meet up. Take my word for it. I am working on getting a photo of her draped over the Panigale in her Agent Provacteur Lingerie ;-) .. private use of cause.
