So it begins. Again.
Let's just say after 11tyb posts on the SF- Ducatimonsterforum, it died, under the boot-heel of Facebook. So I joined FB unable to stop it. After years of that, I'm damaged. I might as well admit it. It's done. Maybe it was dating + Facebook; maybe it was watching my racer friends make babies and get fat while my Peter Pan syndrome was just kicking in.
Regardless, I'm all yours now.
So, hi beautifuls!
Bio
Ride: Ducati 848
Favorites riding: Tracks, mountains, beaches. All of it. I just love to ride.
Laguna Seca my fav.
I've been riding a little while. Me, piloting at 6 years old 1970's. (That ATC came in a cardboard box that fit into the back of a station wagon. After we saw the James Bond film, "Moonraker" where it was first featured, on a road trip, we passed a Honda dealer that was selling them and I shared a seat with it all the way home.)
Coolest ride ever! SF to Tahoe included Sun...Freezing rain...SNOW. California Sierras May31. Started 80F, ended 22F. Superbike + Snowfun. We rode through 6" of snow by letting a lot of air out of the tires. We lived.
1000 miles + camping on the beaches? Absolutely! Yes that is camping gear strapped to the back.
•Eggs Oola-la aux fromagé $12.00
•Cafe au lâit $3.00
•Ducati parking on State Street, Santa Barbara sidewalk... priceless.
I did that Ducati Valve thing...once. Once. I am absolutely happy to pay an expert to do it now.
Hoping to get to Mugello this year!
So I moved to Italy, just in time for lockdown, so I've been riding my bicycles a lot.
It looks like this so far. May I offer, a little road ....:
Hit me up if you're in the Alps!
