there is another ive heard of...called 316 track days....BUT there is no website, and their contact looks to be social media only...so screw that....but they do 30min open sessions...wich is kinda nice.

there are others, like the RR fest (BMW) and a couple ducati specific events....but i really like ridesmart and will continue to support that org. the owners are very chill and easy to work with and talk too...and they take feedback pretty seriously i have found.

RS is the most established organization at COTA - been there for years and host 5 or 6 weekends annually. Their events are nicely run and the instructors are helpful and competent. They’re the most popular organization in TX which means the track is also crowded - 50-60 riders per group.

3:16 is a smaller organization that hosts track days at most of the same tracks as RS (including MSR Houston and MSR Cresson), but spends most of their time at Harris Hill and hosted one or two COTA weekends annually the last few years. I have ridden with them several times, but don’t know the management well. My understanding is they are still active, but undergoing a restructuring and not as active this year as previously. I think they’re doing a COTA weekend in October or November. They are a good group of people and I’ve enjoyed their track days. They’re a bit more personable than RS - they provide hydration and even have staff members walking the garages bringing frozen icy pops to riders. They tend to have smaller groups too (~40 riders per group).

As @SirJAG mentioned, there are other options to ride COTA including the annual BMW RR Fest and Aprilia Racers Day. I’ve attended RR Fest the last couple years and it’s a great event.

Maybe deserving of its own new post, but for COTA fans- this event is coming up June 11th, having been to the last one- it is a fun event
