Glad to see nothing bad happened.
I have a beach condo here in Chile and when I leave early in the morning the dew/sea breeze will leave the ground really damp. The shiny lane markings, especially the fat crosswalk ones, are like ice. Some lane strips are painted but the ones I'm talking about look like thick vinyl patches. Even the painted ones are pretty slippery when wet. I had a few close encounters on those strips in turns.
Now... since I know how they are, I slide and drift on those just for fun.
